Evan is six feet in height, and may or may not grow another inch or so yet. He is very slender, with long limbs and large feet. He may look skinny, but if you catch a glimpse of what's underneath his clothes, it's all lean muscle under there, since he takes pride in his appearance and likes to stay fit. He can be vain, so he carries himself with dignity, head always held high, a confident air following him everywhere. He is pale, though tans lightly in the sun. He isn't really fussed about skin tone, so he's happy either way.
Evan is very handsome, though some might say unconventionally so. He has a slender face, to match his overall appearance, and a long, straight nose, which he has grown to feel comfortable with over the last few years. His lips are fleshy and kissable, almost girly in their pouting state, and he smiles little, though his teeth are perfectly kept. Evan has strong brows sitting above the most beautiful eyes. Framed in dark thick lashes, his eyes are large and a stunning shade of crystal blue, looking grey in some lights, and pure sapphire in others. His hair is dark and straight, usually long and messed to perfection. He hates having it too short, so tries to keep length in it, sometimes even growing it out down to his shoulders.

Evan's worst memory is from his first family holiday abroad. He hated it, and cried for the full two weeks, wanting to go home. He discovered that day that he is most definitely a home bird, and dreads having to travel, to the point where he feels sick if he has to leave the country.

Evan's happiest memory is from his ninth birthday, when his parents took him to a book signing to meet the author of his favourite book in the whole world. He still has his signed copy, and cherishes it. His Patronus takes on the form of a Giraffe.

Evan is a quiet guy. He makes friends easily enough, but he only holds a few close to him. He is guarded and sensible, and likes to have people in his life who care for him, or at least show an interest in him, rather than themselves. He is not egotistical, he just likes to see within people that they care and have the ability to look beyond themselves. He is a good friend to have, he is loyal, kind, thoughtful, and a lot of fun in the right company. It takes certain kind of people to bring out his bold side, but around his true friends, he is always a bundle of laughs and can be quite cheeky.
He has a great wit and sense of humour, and isn't averse to throwing the odd witty line out there mid conversation. He can be a flirt, too, and likes girls a lot. He isn't afraid to take risks and date girls. There's no harm in having fun while he's young, is there? Evan believes this wholeheartedly, but if he feels more than just a fleeting attraction to a girl, he will be more sensible. He is very romantic and a big dreamer. He always has his head in the clouds, but has every intention of making any dreams he has come true, so isn't just a whimsical daydreamer. He is hard working and knows how to get what he wants, and the best way to go about it, no matter what it may be.
He can be sensitive and moody, like all teenagers can, and since he is usually quiet anyway, he can seem like a right brooding bugger sometimes. He doesn't really brood, though, just drifts off trying to imagine what life could be like, as opposed to the crappy situation that pissed him off in the first place. He is very artistic, and great at sketching and drawing, as well as musically talented. He likes a good read, too, and has a pretty good collection of books. He is a very neat person, and is almost OCD about his personal belongings, liking everything to be in it's place, and feeling completely unsettled if it's not perfect. He is quietly confident, and applies this to every aspect of his life in the hopes that those lofty dreams will one day become a reality.

Born the eldest son of Pureblood couple Evangeline and Stefan West, Evan was a blessing to his parents. They had wanted a child so badly since they had gotten married at a young age, and it had taken three years of trying for them to fall pregnant. This being the case, Even was treated like a little prince. He was doted on and spoiled, and even when his baby brother Jack came along, a year later, they still managed to make him feel adored. Treating both sons equally, they wanted the boys to grow up close, so Evan and Jack were always lumped in together in everything. They even shared a room until Evan was three years old, and then he was allowed a room of his own in their rather large manor.
He never acted like a brat, though, and was always grateful for everything his parents did, having excellent manners. He did become accustomed to having beautiful things, but that was just a natural part of his life, something that was passed down from generation to generation in his family, thanks to a large inheritance of money, and a hard working nature. His parents both worked hard, instilling the quality into Evan and his brother, too. He learned that if he wanted to keep the trappings they had always had, he would need to work hard, too, so that his children could one day have the same life he did. He was always smart and loved to read and listen to music, learning to play a couple of instruments along the way. Piano was his favourite. He was quite a graceful dancer, too, and his parents actually enrolled him in ballet classes as a young boy, which he took to like a duck to water.
He was never ashamed of his dancing ability, and if anyone asks him to this day, he will tell them the truth and admit with no embarrassment that he is highly accomplished at ballet. He received his Hogwarts letter, as was expected, and went off to study magic with confidence. He didn't like the part where he had to stay away from home, but at least he was still in the same country, and he settled in after a while, being sorted into Slytherin where he would be encouraged to put his head full of dreams to good use. He made his friends and socialized well with others, proving to be even kind of popular, despite his quiet nature. Charismatic and artistic, Evan doesn't struggle at school now, and is quite happy ploughing away to make his dreams a reality.
