Ana stands at 5'5 (and a half!) and is stick thin with only a few curves to her name. She isn't big busted and her legs don't do on forever but she doesn't care too much about that since she has a beautiful face that she refuses to cover in any sort of make up although of course she isn't averse to a little every now and then.
Her hair is a dark shade of brown, long and generally falls in waves down her back. She tends to leave it down but for any sort of special occasion she will do it up a little bit although why spend the time and effort doing it every day? Her eyes are a stunning shade of hazel and this is the only time she actually goes out of her way to wear make up as she likes the way mascara makes her eyes pop. Her lips are full and naturally tinged a soft pink and again, during school she will wear a clear lip gloss that only highlights her natural beauty.
Despite trying to pretend she doesn't have money Ana tends to wear expensive clothing although like any other student lives in her school uniform. She likes fitted clothes but in the summer will wear dresses and skirts. Most of the things she does wear at school are things she has made herself and loves getting compliments from people who like her work.

Tatiana is a very passionate young woman. She lives life to its fullest, determined to do as much as she can while she can knowing that at some point in the near future she will be expected to marry and bear children like any good pureblood girl is expected to do to carry on both the family name and the blood status. She doesn't mind the thought of marriage but the thought that it could be a stranger disgusts her. However, for the lucky man who gets her he will find her loyal, willing and a passionate wife...even if she does not love him she will be all these things to bring honour to her family.
Tatiana is a feisty girl who loves her house at school. She is friends with most of its members and isn't averse to having friends in the other houses although perhaps not as many as she would like. Tatiana is a lover of Quidditch although has never played for her house time (she is a fair hand at being a chaser) but she is one of its loudest supporters in the stands. Along with her loyalty for her house and friends she can be quick to lose her temper when people disrespect her or the above. She knows a fair few hexes despite not being much of a fighter and will use them...She isn't above getting detentions either! She will take the punishment given to her without a comment although like any student she doesn't have to like it!
Despite her temper and passionate nature for pretty much everything Tatiana can be incredibly sensible. She has oodles of common sense and if she can keep herself from jumping into things before it kicks in she can be very level headed. She knows all about her brother and what happened to him and despite disliking the whole matter she has accepted it with little comment. She likes to complete her homework on time and will sit back in class and listen to what the professor has to say before adding any comments of her own.

Tatiana was born to Halinka and Dimitri Rusakov at their family home in Russia. Halinka was the second wife of Dimitri and as a result Ana already had an older brother from the first marriage of her father. Halinka had been desperate to provide her husband with a child as it was one of the many conditions of their marriage...in order to keep up with the life she enjoyed there was terms she had to abide by. Unfortunately the child was a girl and Halinka suffered badly from what muggles call post natal depression and refused to go near the baby. Her husband on the other hand fell in love with his baby girl and as a result often spoiled her and gave her more attention than his much older son.
Ana grew up to be almost a spoiled child although it was tempered by the fact her mother couldn't stand to be around her and her brother often ignored her thanks to his jealousy. It was this jealousy that had him join the Russian Mafia. Grigori became deeply involved with the dark underbelly of the Russian magical community and was soon a member of the equivalent of the Dark Avengers of England. Taking a job in the Russian ministry that his father had gotten for him he began work to bring it down from the inside. It was this work that eventually got him killed for when the Russian hit wizards discovered his plans they killed him (whether it was by accident or not has never been proved).
Ana was home schooled for most of her young life and it was only when her brother was killed when she turned eight that they were forced to move from their ancestry home to a new one in England. Her father wanted her away from the reporters and the gossip that had come with the death and disgrace of his son. Ana was distraught at knowing her brother had become so bitter because of her and for some months was quite withdrawn, taking pleasure only in her horse riding.
At the age of eleven she received her letter to both Hogwarts and the school her parents had gone to back home in Russia. Since there was still some whispers about her brother it was decided that she would go to Hogwarts and it was with some trepidation that she and her father stood on the platform waiting for the train. She was so afraid! Never before had she been away from home for so long! Getting onto the train had been something of a tearful ordeal for the both of them but it wasn't long before she had herself settled in a carriage, surrounded by other first years and finding that she wasn't the only one worried about being away from home settled her nerves somewhat. Besides, she wasn't the kind of person to just back down from something because she was afraid! It was this thinking that had her sorted into Gryffindor.
The moment she became a member of that house she found herself a family away from home. Every day brought something new into her life and with it a new way of living. Ana was sad to go home at each holiday but she was always happy to see her father although that was getting less and less thanks to his promotion, meaning he was often away for great periods of time. Over the years her accent has slowly slipped away although anyone with any hearing at all can tell she isn't English at all.
Now she is in her sixth year she is looking at her future and what is required of her. Although she knows her father wants the best for her she also knows that she has a duty as a pureblood and the only living child of the family name to carry on everything he has worked for. It is a heavy burden made worse only by the fact that she has seen someone at school she quite likes...he is pureblood of course but he must work for her affections. As a Rusakov she must have only the best!
