Cole reaches around six feet in height now, and probably won't grow much taller, really. He is well built, yet fit, with broad shoulders and a toned torso that he sort of has to keep in shape for his job. He usually has a light tan, though sometimes he can overdo it in the summer and end up a bit orange, and he's not averse to being particularly pale in the colder months. He carries himself with confidence, yet does retain a kind of laid back air, even if he doesn't mean to. He has big feet, which he's a bit embarrassed about, but that's about the only physical thing he doesn't like about himself.
He is very handsome, with a symmetrical face and strong jawline. With full lips, a nice enough, gently sloping nose, and sparkling, expressive sky blue eyes, he is pretty easy to look at, and quite confident with his appearance. His hair is naturally light brown, and he usually keeps it long, falling about his face in a silky mess. It can look almost blonde in the summer, and dark brown in the winter, thanks to lack of sun. Cole has a huge, white smile that makes him look very young and naughty when he flashes it, which is often.

Cole's worst memory comes from the time when he was four, and a stalker broke into his parents home with a gun. He witnessed the whole thing, and was quite traumatized. Nothing bad came of it, the man was arrested and things went back to normal, but it still worries Cole to death every day. He tries to block it out.

Cole's happiest memory was the first time he was cast in a proper, big budget movie. Sure, it was just a child role, but he felt like a superstar and was thrilled. His Patronus takes the form of a Lion.

Cole is a very modest person who knows what he wants, and pretty much already has it in his grasp. He's intelligent and hard working, and likes to have fun with his friends and learn as much as possible. He's very outgoing, and will give most things a try, just for the experience of it, and given his own experiences from his life before magic, he's very good at giving advice, and has a strong, sensible head on his shoulders. He loves music, and anything creative that pushes boundaries and makes people think outside the box, and thinks laughter cures anything.
He's pretty easy to be around, though he has trust issues in general, thanks to the world he was raised in, and he tries his best not to let it affect his friendships at school, since the people he is surrounded by are generally clueless anyway, with regards to his personal life. He's kind and generous enough to be pretty popular, though he keeps his fair share of secrets, purely to protect himself. He's highly protective of his family and himself, since they've all had bad experiences throughout their lives with people trying to hurt them, so he can get quite erratic and flaky if he begins to see bad sides to people. If he suspects someone might hurt him in any way, he will just withdraw, and cut off, which can leave people confused sometimes.
Cole has a big heart, and a bigger imagination, and he can turn on any character for people at the drop of a hat, making him entertaining to his friends, and seen as a bit of a clown at times. He's far from it, though. He just likes to let loose and make sure he keeps himself versatile enough to make money when he goes home in the summer. He's not a bit materialistic, and though his family are rich, he hardly spends a penny on anything, preferring to just spend on necessities and leave the rest sitting there. He sometimes gets extravagant gifts for his friends on special occasions, causing them to wonder how the hell he could afford such things, to which he shrugs and tells them he saved up hard all year. He wishes he could spoil them all the time, like he does with his sisters, but he's too scared of them finding out the truth.

Born on the 1st August 2005, in the town of Reading, England, Cole was the second child of celebrity couple Hope Edison and Charlie Blackthorne. He was born into a life of fame and riches, and didn't know any different growing up. His parents went to great lengths to raise their children themselves, hardly ever calling on nanny's to look after them. He became the only boy, two more sisters being added to the brood later down the line. Even from a young age, Hope and Charlie knew their son was going to be a star, as he was a little showman, running around with shades on and a microphone in his hand, aged three, making everyone laugh. He loved it, it was plain for all to see, and so they started putting him up for auditions for television adverts and the like. Him being their son, he got parts straight away, and seemed to thrive in front of a camera.
This became normal for him, and by the time he was six and seven, he had moved up to movies, gradually getting starring roles in blockbusters, as this persons kid, or that persons kid. He decided that there was nothing else he would rather do with his life, and his sisters encouraged him greatly. He had a great relationship with all of his family, thinking them all wonderful and talented and special, he doted on his sisters, even Jessamy, and would spend his pocket money on sweets or silly little novelty gifts for them. Cole and his siblings were also used to travelling, since they would get flown all around the world to different movie sets their parents were working on. It was fun and interesting for Cole to get to see so many different places, and he never seemed to get bored with it, or fed up of being carted around like spare luggage. He appreciated what his parents did, even though it was sometimes scary.
When he reached the age of eleven, something.... even more unusual than his daily life occurred. An owl landed on his shoulder, while he was sitting outside by the pool in a posh hotel in Italy. Completely bewildered, Cole froze, not really knowing what to do. It was holding it's leg out to him, where a letter was attached, and it began pecking his arm relentlessly until he took the letter, after which it flew off. Strangest thing, ever. Then he realized who the letter was addressed to, and ran screaming to his dad, waving it about in confusion and anticipation. What the hell was going on? Well, naturally, it told him he was a wizard, and was to attend a magical school, starting next month. Of course it did. Why wouldn't it. *ahem*
Needless to say, excitable Cole, with his overactive imagination, was ecstatic. He was a wizard!! YESSS!! *fist pump* His sisters were baffled and a little jealous (well, little Indy was, anyway). After many long talks with his parents, they agreed that he could attend, and he thanked every higher power he could think of for his open-minded mum and dad. They were so awesome. Shopping at Diagon Alley followed soon after, which was a whole other crazy experience, especially since the whole family went along for the adventure. And when it came to 1st September, well, Cole was beside himself with excitement and terror. What if nobody liked him? What if people knew who he was and started getting crazy and stalker-ish? What if he got shot? Or magiced in the face? (As he called it).
Blatantly, none of that stuff happened, and he learned quickly that these magical folk he was now mixing with, knew nothing of his world. Nothing at all. Well, most of them, anyway. Some of the kids were like him, and came from non-magical families. Those were the ones he trusted the least, and worried about the most. He settled in quickly, being sorted into Hufflepuff thanks to his hard working, friendly nature, and soon made friends with those that proved themselves oblivious to his real life. In fact, Hogwarts proved to be one of the safest places for him, and Cole loved the anonymity. He and his parents had come to the conclusion that he would make movies during the summer holidays, so that he didn't have to give up the thing he loved most, and he now very much appreciates having the castle to go back to and escape the fame and status he is slowly building up for himself in the Muggle world.
