Blonde with blue eyes, people often call Lorcan 'the pretty boy' and his brother Lysander is often compared to him, at least physically wise. He is as tall as his brother and has the same build, though he's a bit more muscle toned due to his 'heroic acts', rescuing damsels in distress. He's the average pretty boy with a not so average personality. It's a bit wonky, actually.
Each week, his hair is a different color, which he calls "a weekly expression". When it's red, he'll be feeling passionate about something. When it's green, he's feeling sick. When it's blue, he's feeling reflective. And when he's allowed to be out of his uniform, you can bet he'll be wearing an out of this world outfit. Those who know Lorcan personally, however...

Lorcan. Where to begin with Lorcan Scamander, eldest son of Rolf and Luna Scamander, though technically, he is the same age as his brother, Lysander. Guess he just popped out first. Anywhoo...
For a boy of 16, many wonder if Lorcan had been dropped on his head multiple times when he was younger, because like his brother, he isn't all there. In fact, he might just be a tad worse than Lysander, for he often tries to swoop in for the rescue when it comes to 'damsels in distress' , even if they had just dropped a quill or book. Any opportunity to help a woman, he will take it, no matter how pathetic it is.
Mysteries. Oh, how he loves mysteries. If there's a mystery that has yet to be solved or a myth that has yet to be debunked or proven, he'll be there to take on the case and until it's solved, he won't move on. He can get quite obsessive when it comes to the unknown.
All this being said, he does believe in love and would be thrilled to meet a girl who wouldn't judge him for his weirdness and would love him solely for who he was: a weirdo.

When Lorcan and Lysander were born, Rolf and Luna knew they had something special. This became even more apparent when both brothers turned out to be a bit weirder than their peers, Lorcan moreso than Lysander.
At the age of 5, instead of playing outside with the boys, Lorcan would be inside the house trying to solve mysteries. There was this one time Lysander had lost a sock and Lorcan would not rest until that sock was found. He had used all of his deductive powers and by the end of the day, he had found it under a pile of Quibbler magazines.
At age 7, he was protecting young girls who were being harassed by young boys and hexed the bullies until they regretted ever uttering a single negative syllable in the name of the opposite sex. Their parents had been angry but Luna and Rolf had been proud.
Then came age 11, and Lorcan and Lysander were headed off to Hogwarts. Lorcan was enthralled with the castle and wanted to explore every inch of it, but since it was his first year, he had to at least go through the sorting ceremony first. His brother was the first of the two to be sorted. He went to Hufflepuff house.
A few minutes later, it was Lorcan's turn. With a confident stride, he sat down on the chair and the sorting hat was placed upon his head. It didn't take long for it to shout out "RAVENCLAW!" and he about screamed he was so upset. He wanted to be with his brother!
But he didn't scream, he held it in, held it in as he made his way to the Ravenclaw table and sat down with the rest of his peers. He thought he'd never be happy again. But those days of unhappiness weren't meant to last. Less than a month later, he was content in the Ravenclaw common room as he tried to solve mystery after mystery...
after mystery.
