Anya's hair tumbles down her back in golden waves, stopping just above her waist. It's thick and naturally bouncy and full of life. A dark golden shade of blonde, she has beautiful pale highlights scattered throughout, and is quite happy with her shining, natural hair colour. It is enhanced by the fact that she is part Veela, giving it a beautiful glow. Anya's eyes are not particularly large, though their stunning colour makes up for their lack in size. The fact that they are deep set doesn't stop the beautiful pale aqua tones from shining out in the most alluring way. Some days they look bright blue, others taking on a greener hue, but they always display her sunny nature to the fullest. Blessed with a perfectly heart-shaped face, Anya is quite beautiful. With high cheekbones and a delicate, pointed chin, she has a very appealing look. Her nose is neat and small, sitting right above pouting, full lips, that are a lovely deep red shade without any help from makeup. Her eyebrows are arched to perfection, the same golden shade as her hair, they sit quite low on her face, enhancing the deep set nature of her eyes, and occasionally arching into one of her sarcastic expressions with great effect.
Anya stands at 5 feet and 5 inches tall, making her average height. She has curves, though is in no way fat or overweight. Her body is toned, the curves being taught and supple, and very popular with the male population. Her legs aren't too long, though she likes to enhance them with heels, and finds that applying a little fake tan makes her look slimmer and taller in general. She's not the most elegant of creatures, and seems to be very sure-footed, and a little heavy-handed at times, to the point of being a little bit clumsy.

Lamb - Anya's happiest memory is the day she met her now best friend on the train to Hogwarts in her first year. She was nervous and excited, and the girl joined her compartment. also a new student, and they became fast friends and have been inseparable ever since.

Anya is a very bright, cheerful person, though not in an over the top, annoying way. She likes to see the positive side to life, and is ever the optimist. She likes to have fun and is a bit of a gambler at heart. Making friends quite easily, she can strike up a conversation with anyone, and become surprisingly close to them in a short amount of time. She does have an air of flightiness about her, but she's actually very loyal, and once she counts you as a friend, you're a friend for life, whether you're a permanent fixture in her world, or not. She sees the best in people, and finds it hard to hold grudges, as everybody makes mistakes.
She can be a bit dreamy, and enjoys building castles in the sky, and imagining what life would be like if "this" or "that" happened, even if it will never come to fruition. She encourages others to do the same, as she thinks a life without dreams and desires, is a very sad, meaningless one. There's no harm in indulging your imagination every now and then. Or every day, in Anya's case. She tends to deny sadness until the very last minute, pretending everything is okay, and then breaking down in hysterics and tears when she can't hold it back any longer. This can make people think she's pretty sensitive, but she's not, she just tries her best to be strong and happy, and doesn't seem to want to acknowledge that if she let bad things in a bit more, it wouldn't be so extreme of a reaction to feel negativity.
She is not the sharpest tool in the box, and does struggle a lot with her studies, often seeking out help from older students, or just really smart people, regardless of their year or age. She's not scared to admit her weaknesses, which can be refreshing for people, and she will ask for help when she needs it, instead of struggling along failing all of her classes. She isn't an idiot, she just finds it hard to pick things up as fast as other kids might, and is often described as a ditz. This is pretty accurate. She is definitely the definition of a dizzy blonde, and she's clumsy with it, to boot. But her heart is golden and as clumsy and intellectually challenged as she might be, she is a wonderful, loyal girl, and loves with all her heart.

Anya was born in Belfast, Ireland, and was the youngest child and daughter of Harry and Shannon James, a lovely down to earth couple who worked hard for what they had. She was a happy child, and was always making her mammy and daddy laugh every day with her giggling, especially once she was crawling and knocking things over left, right, and center. She was clumsy from the word go, and provided most of the entertainment in the James household. Her siblings doted on her, though she was only a year younger than her sister, Ciara, but she learned how to share and play fair right away. She never threw tantrums or acted like a spoiled brat because of this, which her family were very grateful for.
Both of her parents were magical, though her mother was Half-Blood and part Veela, father Pureblood. Luckily for Anya and her siblings, her daddys family weren't Pureblood elitists, and were quite happy for him to marry the woman he loved, regardless of her blood status. So Anya had a lot of family in her life, with grandparents, aunties, uncles and cousins. She soon found that she didn't like to be alone, and would fret if Christian and Ciara went out playing with their friends for too long, because she woudl miss them terribly.
Aged eleven, Anya was the last of her family to receive a Hogwarts letter, and was very scared and excited about it. She had been left out for a whole year now, staying home while her brother and sister went off to learn magic, but now it was her chance. She made a friend on the train journey, in true Anya fashion, and was delighted when the pair of them were sorted into Gryffindor together at the sorting ceremony. She pretty much babbled her way through her entire first year, excitement and nerves bubbling over every day. It wasn't until her second year that she settled in properly, and stopped being hyper about every new thing she came across. Now she is in her sixth year, and is still the bubbly, friendly girl everyone loves, but she is struggling with her studies, and hopes she can pull it together and get enough help before her final exams next year.
