Winter has always been described as being pretty but she just doesn't see it when compared to her stunning sisters. Winter as long blonde hair that she's been known to dye from time to time. sparkling white teeth, hypnotic blue eyes and a smile to die for. To Winter her best feature is her smile, her whole face just lights up when she smiles.
Winter stands at a cute 5'3" but because she's mostly all legs, she looks taller. She weighs in at about a healthy 125lbs. With her golden hair, blue eyes and tan she's often told she looks more like a Summer than a Winter, she has a friendly, innocent, sweet face and a middle name that suits her looks more than her first name.

Winter's worst memory is from when she was about six years old and got lost in Diagon Alley. She was petrified and nearly abducted and that's where her fear of being alone comes from because in her mind when she's alone, bad things happen.

Being sorted into Hufflepuff with a new friend from the Hogwarts Express and having the whole table clapping to welcome her is Winter's happiest memory and the animal her patronus takes is a unicorn.

Winter is a friendly, outgoing girl that loves to have fun. She enjoys having her friends near her and hates being left alone. She loves to make people feel included and isn't above gossiping. She's a little judgmental and knows that everyone is, anyone that claims to be non-judgmental is a liar and an idiot in Winter's books.
Winter has a tendency to be a little overbearing from time to time. She can have her quiet times and her loud times and always likes a friendly atmosphere. She hates when anyone picks on her friends or when her friends pick on anyone else. She's very even tempered and it takes a lot to get her upset, emotional and angry. Winter believes that keeping a level head is key to keeping good friendships going and to being popular with everyone.
Winter has her bad points too, she can get a little clingy from time to time because she hates being left alone, she hates being ignored and can get quite bitchy when provoked. She's good with her wand and not afraid to hex anyone she thinks deserves it or in self defence, though it will take a lot to get her to this point and only if talking doesn't pan out the way she hopes. Winter also has a tendency to put off homework and chat away in class. She's an average student and should probably apply herself a little better than what she does.
Occasionally Winter likes to flirt with the boys. She loves attention from guys and knows that she can get quite a lot. It's nothing that goes to her head though because of course, she shares a dorm with someone that's quarter Veela, it's ind of hard to compete with someone who's born to be beautiful.

Winter was the fifth child born to Tallulah and Jeremy Rayne. You'd think after 4 children, including a set of twins that the couple would have been happy enough, but no! Both Lulah and Jerr wanted a big, big family so after Winter was their fifth, they had two more children! The couple had wanted more but it just never happened for them.
Winter grew up close to all of her siblings. She had three older brothers, and an older sister, a younger brother and a younger sister so she was the girl in the middle and it never bothered her, she just played well with all her siblings and friends, embracing everyone that came into her life.
When she was six and on a visit to Diagon Alley with her family, Winter got herself lost looking at a flower stall. Her family moved on to the next shop and Winnie just hadn't realised. Eventually she looked up from the flowers and walked the direction she thought her family had gone but got herself confused. Instead of heading forwards she headed back the way they had come. All of a sudden fear gripped the six year old and she looked about, panicking, the panic soon intensified as she was picked up by a complete strange without any warning.
Winter screamed and screamed and for the most part people just watched on, thinking she was a child throwing a tantrum, it wasn't until a hit witch in the area noticed and threw a stunning spell at the kidnapper that people realised what was going on.
Ever since that day it had been Winter's biggest fear to be left alone but she knew what she wanted to do as a career. She wanted to be a hit witch like the woman that had saved her, the only trouble is now that she's at Hogwarts she spends more time concentrating on her friends than her school work.
Year after year the Rayne household got smaller and smaller as each child left for Hogwarts. Winter couldn't wait for her turn and was pleased as punch when she had been sorted into Hufflepuff like her mum and the majority of her mothers family (the Bones').
Winter always socialised well with others and had a natural ability to make others feel better about themselves. She has a tendency to occasionally gossip but would never say anything to intentionally hurt someone's feelings. She's quite to how other's feelings might be impacted by what she or others might say.
Now in her sixth year of Hogwarts, Winter is usually seen surrounded with friends. She has many different social groups and gets along with nearly everyone from every house. There's a few that just don't like her and usually they're the ones that reside in Slytherin but she's open to friendships with anyone.
