Brekke is a little disappointed with her height. She's a tiny 5 feet and 3 inches small and feels her attitude makes up for her lack of stature when surrounded by taller people. She has an hourglass figure, again, tiny, pulling right in at the waist and tapering down nicely to her not-so-long legs. Her body is extremely toned, thanks to her background in dance, so she is very agile and dextrous, and holds herself in the correct ways to present herself in the most attractive light possible. Perfect posture and a trained way of moving make her seem like she's dancing down the corridor when merely walking. She can make other people look rather clumsy and blundering. She has a darker complexion, so never looks particularly pale; her skin is designed for tanning and she goes a startling shade of gold when out in the sun for too long.
Brekke has a very small face [much like the rest of her]. Slender and neat, she has a tidy chin and not-too-high forehead, making her face very much in proportion with her body. Large eyes sit below neatly shaped brows in the same hue as her hair, quite straight in design and tapering down to an elegant finish near her temples. Her cheekbones are strong, and serve to empthasize her rather pronounced nose. Not hideous in appearance, Brekke's nose is a little on the lage size, a small bump stopping it from being a delicate ski-slope shape. Her confidence manages to override her less than perfect nose, though, and she still retains a sultry, sexy reputation, people thinking her beautiful regardless. Her lips are small and thick, perfectly balanced and even, and often part to reveal a row of pearly white teeth that light up her face in a smile. Falling down her back and stopping just above her waist, Brekke's hair is deep brown and very rich in texture. It's naturally wavy, but she likes to have it straight some days for a bit of variety, sometimes pulling it up away from her face, other times letting it fall about in beautiful sheets of chocolate. Dark brown is her natural colour, though she has dyed it blonde in the past and occasionally has highlights put in it. Brekke's eyes are very dark brown. So expressive are they, that they give away every emotion she's going through, and she finds it impossible to stop it from happening. They are bigger than average in size, and quite round, with a slight cat-like point on the outside edge. Her lashes are long and thick and she often lines them with black liner and layers of black mascara to enhance their beauty even more. They tend to sparkle with a cheeky glint most of the time, like she's hiding something highly entertaining.

Brown Bear. The day Brekke performed in her first West End show was the happiest day of her life. Standing on that stage in front of hundreds, maybe thousands of people is the biggest buzz she's ever had.

Most people describe Brekke as an absolute angel with an iron fist. She IS mother earth, and can't help but try to take care of everyone and their whole family. Overly emotional and sensitive, she cries quite easily, and feels for people on a level most don't dig deep enough to find. With a heart of gold, she loves fiercely and enters into everything wholeheartedly. Gentle and caring, she has a compassionate nature that enables her to empathise with people and understand them in ways most others can't. She's highly intuitive, and almost always right with the hunches she gets about people or situations.
That being said, there's a catch to her gentility: She's tough. Very tough. She has an abrupt air about her sometimes, and takes no nonsense. People learn quite quickly not to try and pull the wool over her eyes or take advantage of her kind nature, as she doesn't let them get away with it. Brekke has a fierce temper when provoked and, though she's protective of others, she's highly self-protective, too, and when pushed to her limits can be quite scary. She's hard, and makes people be the best they can, pushing them to work harder and excell themselves. She's a strong believer in tough love, though always has a loving hug for you, even when she's being hard on you.
She has a brilliant sense of humour, and can be extremely witty. Students tend to adore her for they feel quite secure in her presence, even when she's being harsh with them. She's more like a friend to her students and they know that they can laugh with her and be at ease in her company, yet have enough respect to abide her rules. All in all, Brekke is one pretty amazing, strong woman.

Brekke doesn't, so far, have any pets of her own, she does, however, tend to find herself looking after other people's animals around the castle, often feeding stray cats that pass by her office or quarters and spending quality time in the owlery and out by the Forbidden Forest. The Magical Menagerie is one of her favourite places in Diagon Alley.

Brekke grew up in a wealthy household, and had everything she wanted from a young age. Born in Dorset, England, her parents, a few months after Brekke turned five, made the move to Liverpool, purchasing a rather magnificent house that was much too big for a family of four. Brekke and her little sister Kiri practically had their own wing, and managed to fill it quite nicely with toys and such, their lives overflowing with material goods.
Brekke was delighted when her baby brother, Bailey was born, she had begged her parents for a brother for years, since her relationship with Kiri could be volatile on occasion, and Brekke had no outlet for her tomboyish ways. Bailey proved to be a brilliant distraction for her as she practically mothered him his whole life. She wasn't too thrilled about having to leave him behind to attend Hogwarts, but her sensible head told her she had no choice, so she embraced life at school with every ounce of enthusiasm she could muster, excelling in a lot of subjects, especially Transfiguration. In the summer holidays, Brekke would attend extensive dance lessons, being in classes for hours at least five nights a week. It was what she dreamed of doing since she could walk, and her parents put her in lessons at an early age, giving her amazing talent in that department.
When she left school, Brekke didn't really know what to do with herself. She didn't want to follow in any of her parents footsteps, and was quite torn between the wizarding world and muggle life. Her fathers side of things was so... simple to her. Everything was done by hand, completely natural, blood, sweat and tears; magic didn't enter into it at all, and it appealed greatly to Brekke's earthy nature, so she chose to follow her dancing dreams. Branching out on her own, she moved to London and won herself a few unforgettable jobs dancing in West End shows, which she loved. She had never felt so alive in all her life. But as the years passed, she realized that she needed more from life. Dancing payed the bills, but it would never give her a fabulous house, or support the family she wanted so badly, so at the age of 22, she decided a career change was necessary. Naturally, after trying the muggle way, magic was the next option, and there had recently been a vacancy at Hogwarts for a new Divination Professor. Brekke didn't need telling twice. The job was perfect for her, and she jumped on it and refused to take no for an answer, winning the position with great vigour and embarking on her new life.
