Being of asian decent Maelee has the classic almond shaped eyes associated with most aisians. They're a beautiful brown and what she thinks of as her best feature. She has a cute little nose, very full lips and gorgeous tanned skin. Her hair is naturally black, her figure slender and her breasts bountiful!
Mae wears clothes that fit her figure as well as possible though occasionally she'll wear a big dress or a summery one so she's not too hot in the warmer weather. When she tans she tends to get quite a bit darker. She's already the darkest in her family and presumes she gets that from her father, whoever he was/is.
She stands at a petite 5'2" and weighs only 104lbs. She light and nimble and enjoys dancing, she used to dance growing up doing ballet and as such has great posture but creaky bones now that she doesn't continue it.

Somewhere deep down is a mixed up a little girl. Maelee has quite a dark side, dark thoughts about hurting people and hurting herself but she never acts on these thoughts, she's never done anything untoward to anyone and has always been a perfect daughter, perfect sister, perfect student and amazing friend to anyone that has ever needed her.
Maelee has a knack for reading people. She's very much into watching people's body language and to go with her natural intuitions she's taught herself, after many sleepless nights, to become a legilimens. She's only practiced on people from inside cupboards, peeking around the doors and she's never stayed too long because she can't hold up the magic so she's only ever peered in on irrelevant information, but she's very much interested in learning to become better at the craft and to go with this she's studied to be an occlumens. She's never put this into practice with someone trying to invade her mind but she has the theory memorised. She doesn't want anyone getting in on her dark thoughts.
But Maelee isn't all imposing and dark, she's kind to everyone she meets, gives everyone a chance and has never been known to say anything bad about anyone. She's sweet, a little on the shy side and keeps to herself, even with her brother. A lot of people trust her and she's good with secrets, she spends a lot of time and the library and has only ever once gotten an E, all her other grades had been O's, thankfully the E was in a mock exam, not the real thing. Failing academically is her greatest fear.
So all in all Maelee is dark, a little disturbed, imposing, smart, intuitive, kind, sweet, trustworthy and reserved.

Maelee was born a first child but she did not remain a first child for long. Not long at all in fact, just a measly seven minutes when her twin brother, Mieko, followed her into the world and ever since then it has been just the three of them. Mieko, Maelee and their mum, Cho.
Maelee and Mieko have never had the luxury of knowing their dad, all Maelee knows about her father is that he left while their mum was pregnant, the real story is he left when he found out Cho was a witch for he was a muggle from whom Cho had kept her secret. It just so happened that he left and divorced her just before she had found out she was pregnant. Sort of.
The news of divorce came two weeks before Cho discovered she was pregnant and so she just withheld the information from her estranged husband. She knew she could raise a child on her own. She didn't need a man that found magic a sign of a freak and the chances that her child was magical were high, she didn't want her child rejected by his or her own father.
The divorce wasn't too much of a long process but a week after it was all finalised and her ex-husband said he wanted nothing more to ever do with her or her world, she found out that she was pregnant with twins.
Being the strong sort of girl she was, Cho decided that even though she was having twins, she could still manage on her own and with her parents help. The twins were born in a hospital and for the few years they were alive, Cho's parents helped out with the growing handful and just after their fourth birthday, they passed away.
Maelee was a quiet child. She was a little noisy as a toddler and remembers her grandparents well. She remembers that they loved both her and her brother very much and of course their mother. They had paid for a lot of their younger education, tutors teaching them to read and even after their deaths Maelee remembered her grandmother telling her that her mother is very strong but to look after her and help anyway she can.
Maelee enjoyed spending time inside, reading books and doing chores. She liked to help her mother out around the home as this was the best way she could honour her grandmother. Family was the most important thing to this family.
When Maelee got her Hogwarts letter she was excited though never showed it. For whatever reason Maelee had always had trouble showing her emotions, she preferred to keep them all tucked away inside, she prefers to be private and not let anyone in, not even her twin.
Maelee was sorted into the house of Ravenclaw when she arrived at Hogwarts after an uneventful boat ride across the great lake. She had her brother by her side ever step of the way through Hogwarts, a very protective older brother.
The years have been kind to Maelee at Hogwarts, no one ever picked on her and she's always left alone when she wanted to be, she got perfect grades, was the top of her classes and became Prefect in her fifth year, but now she's getting older she's finding her thoughts becoming darker and darker. She's not sure why or what they mean, if there's something wrong with her but she hasn't told anyone about them so can't expect anyone to help her. She just keeps on being perfect at school and at home and being the perfect sister she thinks her brother wants her to be, he's always so protective of her she'd hate to break his heart with her dark thoughts.
