PLOT!!

The year is 2021. Harry Potter was found dead in his home in Godric's Hollow, his murderers leaving a mysterious note amongst the wreckage of Potter's living room, the Dark Mark on it making it unmissable within the ruin. It simply read:


"Your precious Potter has finally paid for what he did all those years ago. Look out for a new leader rising in the wizarding world. We can't be beaten.

The Dark Avengers."



Potter's wife and children were distraught, all of them having been out visiting Potter's in-laws that night, and their home was greatly damaged, during the fight, which appears to have been great. It seems the Head Auror for the Ministry didn't go down easily, as we would expect from the legendary Harry Potter.

Kingsley Shacklebolt was forced to retire as Minister of Magic after he put all of his focus on finding this new evil group and bringing them down, therefore neglecting his other duties. He has been replaced by a man that no one has ever heard of, and people aren't sure whether to trust the new Minister or not. Could he be in with these Dark Avengers? Those are the rumours flying around, people wondering if the Potter thing is a hoax, or a cover-up or distraction, and chaos is starting to creep into the magical world like it did once before, many years ago.... Is Potter really dead? And if so, does this mean the end of the wizarding world as we know it?

With the Ministry suspected to be under corruption, once again, a group of skilled witches and wizards have formed, to take on the Dark Avengers, should they indeed, rise. They called themselves the Insurgence, since they figured rebelling against Ministry authorities would be part of the job at some point or other, and are gaining strength already. Even students in school have joined in with this new, looming war. Those from families involved with the Avengers formed their own group, the Shadows, and those aware of the Insurgence decided to make themselves useful by forming the Phoenixes, each training up to support their chosen side. But the question is, when the time comes, and everything is brought into the light, which side will you be on?

Winter was eventful at the castle, and not necessarily in any good ways. Festivities were held as usual, with feasts and balls for students and families. The trouble started to show itself in small doses, until just before the Christmas holidays. A student - one of Harry Potter's nieces, no less - was targeted at the school. Somehow an impostor managed to get past castle security and infiltrate the castle, posing as a family member and tricking young Molly Weasley into a terrifying situation. Nobody knows still who this person was, as they managed to get away. Rumours are flying about that the impostor is a Metamorphmagus, and is still at large around the castle, which means that security at the school has been stepped up greatly. Students are now worried and fearful that they will be next, suspicions rising about everyone at Hogwarts. Who could this hidden terror be?

While staff worked tirelessly to try and find the needle in a haystack that is this horrifying intruder, the holidays came and went, a new year creeping in, along with a new, more cautious term. Danger was on the rise, and not just around the castle. Ginny Weasley, wife of Harry Potter and mother of three beautiful children, was out shopping in Diagon Alley when an attack broke out. Members of the Dark Avengers struck, seemingly a killing spree to send another message to the wizarding world. Mrs Potter fought bravely alongside shocked shoppers, taking a few dark wizards down before she was hit with a curse, sending her into a deep magical coma. She was admitted to St. Mungo's Hospital, the news making the headlines all over the country. First Potter, now his wife.... Were his children next on the list? It is said that there is hope Mrs. Potter will recover, and her family and loved ones take comfort in that, and know she is strong enough to fight her way back to them.

The Dark Avengers are striking strong, and fear seeps slowly into every corner of the magical world. The castle is no longer safe, and neither are the people you love....
