With dark hair and dark eyes, Indy is very beautiful. She is rather tiny, in every sense of the word, and only reaches around five feet, two inches in height, though she likes to wear boots a lot to bump her up a few inches. She has a pretty, heart-shaped face, with a wide, bright smile and a small nose. A small scar on her right eyebrow from her childhood adds a bit of character to her features. Indy's hair is very long, falling down her back in a sheet of super thick, glossy hair. She has no idea where it came from, even her sisters are envious of it, but it is luxurious to the extreme, the many layers cut in to it not affecting the sheer volume and thickness of it in the slightest.
Indy likes to wear practical clothes. By no means a wallflower with it, she has no colour preferences, and polishes up quite well when the occasion calls for it. She mostly wears jeans and boots, with pretty blouses of t-shirts on her torso. She has an athletic build, so tries to wear things that will make her look like she has more of a waist, and maybe isn't so flat chested. She would easily pass for the girl next door, and often did in her younger years, but having children has moved her up to a more, motherly, earthy figure.

She had been scared that he'd been kidnapped, and after hours of panicking, it turned out he had wandered into Knockturn Alley and was sitting in a seedy bar with some freaky looking wizard. It terrified her to think what might have happened to him.

Indy is what you might call "no nonsense". She's tough and has been through a lot in life, personally, so it shows in her attitude toward people and events. She likes to know were she stands at all times, and if she's not sure, or feeling confused or lost, she will demand that someone tell her, in no uncertain terms. She can be very blunt and even a little obnoxious, due to the fact that she just doesn't care what others think of her. She says and does whatever she wants, and if people don't like it, that's just too bad.
She's extremely witty, and has an immense sense of humour, which doesn't always extend to everyone she converses with. She is dry and snappy, and very wry when it comes to making quips and jokes, which sometimes leave people offended. Indy is intelligent, and stubborn with it. She's a hard worker, and so once she makes her mind up, or puts the effort in to find something out, she'll fight to the death over it, and won't be told she's wrong in any way. She can be a bit infuriating at times like this, but more often than not, she is right, and she loves to wittily rub it in people's faces when this is the case. She's not shy, or afraid of upsetting the apple cart. If people can't handle how open and straightforward she is, she just tells them to grow a pair, and carries on with her day.
She is by no means mean, or nasty, though. As harsh as she can be, it's just her way. She's too honest for her own good, when it comes to her thoughts, feelings and opinions. Indy is actually very loving, and the epitome of "mother earth". She loves to take care of people, and is all about family. Without her sisters and children, she would be completely lost and depressed. She likes to have stability and family bonds around her, or she falls apart. As warm and loving as you can get, she appreciates the simple things in life. A normal, boring day to everyone else, is Indy's idea of perfection. She doesn't like chaos or things that upset her routine or sense of balance in life. She has the dexterity and mental agility to handle chaotic things that are thrown her way, but it puts her in a damn horrendous mood, and she won't stop until she's fixed things, however hard that may be. She's very resilient and patient, and is best when she's busy, doing practical things, or just general house work. She loves to help people, and know that she's done something to make someone else happy or safe in some way, which is why she loves working as a Healer.

The second child of Emilia and Benjamin, India was always close to her mother and sisters. She became the middle child at the age of two, and immediately learned how to mediate between her two sisters, becoming an expert at keeping the peace, and putting them both in their place. It was a stressful job, and she quickly developed the easily stressed out trait that she would keep with her through to adulthood. When she was four, her youngest sister was born, and the last child of Emilia and Benjamin, before the split, and got divorced.
The divorce was hard on all of the girls, but Indy took it particularly hard. Her eldest sister wasn't too bothered, she was angry at their dad for leaving, and the fact that their mother stopped him from coming around to see the girls, made her hate him more. The youngest girls were too young to really remember much, but five year old Indy loved her father, and didn't understand why things had to be as they were. Their mother was a stubborn woman though - a trait which she would pas down to Indy - and wouldn't budge on the matter, insisting on raising the girls on her own. It was hard to adjust, for India, and she became very finicky and introverted as a child, liking things to be perfect and having her routines in order to cope with life.
She wasn't the most popular person in school, and being sorted into Hufflepuff, a house none of her sisters ended up in, was a shake up in itself. She had wanted to be with her sister in Gryffindor, but had no choice but to accept things and adjust. She learned to do this a lot through out school, and soon became the adaptable person she is today. She studied hard and kept to herself, mostly socializing with the small group of friends she had made. She was never the prettiest or most confident girl in school, so accepted and embraced her role as someone who lived under the radar.
She took a shine to Healing upon graduating school, training at St. Mungo's and working in a bar on the side. She loved the job, and was offered a placement as a junior healer at the hospital, accepting it with enthusiasm and settling in quickly. By the time she was 20, she was a fully fledged Healer, and had just met her first love, the most beautiful man she had ever seen. He was a healer, too, and they quickly fell in love, getting married a few years later and moving in together. Indy soon fell pregnant with their first child at the age of 23. She gave birth to her first son, Lucas, in the spring, and then, two years later, another son, Ace.
With two sons, and a great job and husband, Indy had it all. At the age of 26, however, everything fell apart. Her mother was killed, caught in the crossfire of a wizarding duel and being hit by the killing curse, which devastated Indy and her sisters. Their father soon came back into their lives, now that there was nothing stopping him, and it was another major adjustment of their lives and attitudes, getting used to having him around again, and forgiving him for not being there their whole lives. Not long after, Indy was offered a job at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Being a healer at the school was the most amazing opportunity, in Indy's eyes, and her sisters encouraged her to go for it.
Her husband, however, wasn't too keen on the idea. He didn't want to up and move their family to Hogsmeade, which caused major ructions between them. They split, Indy taking the boys with her to their new home, and starting her new life alone. She missed her husband terribly, as did Lucas and Ace, and with him dropping in to see the boys all of the time, it made it harder for the split to take effect. Almost a year later, they reconciled, after a lot of heartache and battling, and became a family again. Indy fell pregnant right away with her third child, this time having a daughter, who she named Emilia, after her mother. Life settled down for her and her family for a long time, and working at the school seemed to be the best decision she had ever made. With her children now closing in on the age they will attend Hogwarts, themselves, she intends to stay there, so she can be there for them when their time comes.
