There are quite a few ways to earn house points,
and below we will explain how it works. There is a form
at the bottom of this post for you to use. <3
ways to earn house points
- The first thing we should probably tell you, is that the admins can hand out house points whenever they see fit, for whatever reasons. There are a lot of site-wide events and things that will happen over time, and things like awards winners and such, where house points will be awarded. Admins will also award points that are earned in the games board, and through any competitions played in there, so you don't need to worry about any of that.
- Secondly, for anyone playing a professor, head boy/girl, or prefect, you have the ability to award house points, but there are rules for this. If you find someone doing something good around the castle, then you can award no more than ten points to them. If you find them doing something worth punishment, again, no more than ten points can be deducted. The usual would be around five points, either way. Professors can award students for work they do in class, but again, ten is the most, whether you are awarding or deducting, so keep this in mind.
- Participants in Quidditch matches will also be awarded points, five for everyone who plays or posts in the thread, and an additional 20 per person for the winning team.
- For each RP thread that you complete, there is a form at the bottom of this post for you to fill in. For completed Owl threads, two points will be awarded, per post, to each person involved. For completed RP threads, five points will be awarded, per post, to each person involved. However, these threads must be finished before you can post here to claim your house points!
