Sophia has long blonde hair that appears as if it is glowing and very sharp and light green eyes. Judging from the fact that she is half veela, she is considered to be extremely beautiful and members of the opposite sex are usually drawn towards her.
She is fairly short at 5'0 but stands tall and tends to look people in the eye. While she is petite in stature, she is by no means soft. On her body, there a numerous scars on her back and thighs from her mother abusing her with all sorts of weapons and spells. There are also burn marks throughout her whole entire body that she covers up with glamours.
When it comes to dressing up, Sophia has a tendency to not wear any make-up as she wishes to be seen as her and not as just a pretty (or stunningly beautiful) face. As she doesn't like the plain robes of Hogwarts, whenever she gets the chance to, she will change into something more suiting to her taste like a dress or shorts.

Sophia generally is overlooked as someone is either dumb or unworthy which Sophia hates a lot. While she generally appears to be meek and unsure of herself, when a person actually looks at how she holds herself, they see who she really is; A determined and willful girl who would never go down without a fight.
A good trait of Sophia's is that she is very motivated and will work hard without recognition which she hates anyways. She always helps anyone in need because of the fact that she tries hard to avoid what people perceive Veelas to be as vain and proud. She is also extremely clever and is a very quick-thinker. Sophia doesn't care about what people think of her and is highly independent despite the fact that she seems more dependent at first glance. She is also very cool-headed and can sort through things very well. As she always takes time to think things through, she can also be a little slow in her response which annoys people sometimes.
A bad trait of Sophia is the fact that she tends not to speak her mind as she prefers others to reach to the conclusion by themselves. She is also very stubborn and will not ask for help even if she desperately needed it (like she is stuck in a hole and there is a person willing to help her, she would prefer to be stuck). As a result, if someone helps her, she tends to become cold and bitter towards them. Another bad thing about Sophia is that she can be a hypocrite as while she doesn't like people not being open and straightforward, she is by no means open or straightforward.

Sophia was born to a half-blood wizard and a full veela. In the first stages of her life, her mother and father were very close to her and they were all living in a blissful time. However, cracks began to show in her mother's facade by the time she was 4 which fully opened when Sophia was 5. At this stage, her mother full on abused her dad and herself complaining about everything that they did that made her snap. Her dad constantly reassured Sophia that her mother was only going through a very brittle stage in her life but Sophia wasn't sure to believe him as she couldn't stand her dad being mistreated.
Since they lived in the city, her mum and dad quarreling became a nuisance to the people living on their street. They called the police who arrested her dad for abusing Sophia's mum even though it was the other way round. They only did this because her mum charmed them into believing that. Afterwards, her mum took her away to an isolated house where she continued to abuse Sophia. Sophia eventually attempted to run away when she was 7 but was caught by her mother who chained her to a burning house.
Luckily Sophia managed to escape but when she reached outside, she saw her dad, who was released from prison, and her mum fighting outside. Wanting to protect her father from her mother, she sneaked behind her mother and pulled out a hair, recalling that she would grow old which did happen. After this, her mother ran away and ever since then, Sophia has been living peacefully with her dad
