lacey was born and raised in a wizarding community in london, england. she’s a pureblooded fifth year witch in the house of ravenclaw with three siblings. she’s the youngest of four, with her two older brothers and older sister often being very protective of her. though she loves her siblings, she isn’t one to go to them for help all of the time. she’s almost embarrassed to ask for their assistance with matters that involve another person. she wants to come off as a strong individual who can stand up for herself, so she hates it when her older siblings are over-protective of her.
she had quite a stable childhood whilst growing up. she was raised on the beliefs that muggles were worthless scum of the earth. that magic folk were superior. and that muggleborn wizards or halfbloods were tainted and unpure. these are beliefs that she has kept throughout her existence. she really doesn’t like associating with tainted blood.
during her childhood, lacey took a liking to the dark arts. her parent’s library held many fascinating books on several different subjects. her love for reading brought her to this place often, and she would frequently read about anything and everything that interested her. to this day, she is still fascinated with the subject.
one of her favorite hobbies growing up, though, has been learning new curses and spells of all types that can be used against someone. she spent a lot of her time practicing duelling with her siblings. she has a bit of a temper on her and can get a bit violent when provoked, and absolutely loves spell casting and duelling. she’s definitely talented at it.
her parents are quite unlike each other. her father is a little daft while her mother is intelligent and rather cunning, a bit of a loose cannon at times. do the two even love each other? probably not. an arranged marriage between pureblooded families seemed fitting, though, since it helped keep the blood lines pure and magical. it was probably what should happen to lacey in the future. she doesn’t mind.
lacey reminds people a lot of her mother, so people have said. she’s manipulative and sophisticated. she knows how to get what she wants, and she’ll stop at nothing to get it. she enjoys keeping to herself, for the most part. she comes off as quiet and reserved to a lot of people. she’s always buried away in her studies, wanting to get good marks in class. that’s probably how she ended up a ravenclaw.
miss flint believes she is simply the best of the best. an elite magical being of great power. she will look down on you if you are of lesser blood status or intelligence than her. if you happen to befriend her and get on her good side, though, expect immense amounts of loyalty. that is, if you’re a true friend. if she’s using you for some sort of goal, expect her to be an expert at manipulation and playing the role of innocent damsel in distress when need be. people normally don’t expect her to be as sly as she really is. sometimes she acts like an idiot just to be underestimated by other people.
there are times where she even comes off a bit of a bully and/or a bitch. she just doesn’t like it when people are better than her at something, and she’ll show it. most people avoid her just because there always seems to be a scowl on her face. but, as long as you have the same views as her, she’ll probably get along with you fine. (unless you’re a mudblood or something.)
though most see her as a goody two-shoes or a teachers’ pet because of her good marks, that would be inaccurate. she loves breaking the rules and rarely gets caught. sneaking out at night is a specialty of hers, as well as going places that are off limits. she gets a thrill from it. underneath her mask of composure and elegance is a wild side that not many see.
