Naturally Queenie has quiet a young look to her face, it's hard to gage how old she is just by looking at her. Many believe her to be in her mid to late twenties but she's actually a bit older than that. She has smooth, pale skin and doesn't tan well, she usually burns in the sun and peels, leaving behind no signs of a tan, either red splurges or nothing at all.
Queenie usually has her hair down and cut short, it's a auburn sort of red and sometimes appears a little lighter. She has green eyes. She stands at 5'6" and weighs approximately 114lbs. She likes to run and keep in shape though she doesn't get to very often, usually only over the school holidays, which she spends at Hogwarts.
Queenie has a few tattoo's. One on the small of her back meaning Luck and Happiness. She has two tribal dolphins on the inside of her left ankle and on the outside of her right foot she has a little tattoo, in the wizarding world it passes as a fire crab, in the muggle world it's a colourfully jewelled turtle.

Queenie has a strong personality these days but that wan't always the case. Back in school she used to be a door mat that people would walk over and take advantage of, she had a kind heart and still does, but is willing to stand up for herself.
Queenie came out of her shell thanks to her long time friend (and not so secret crush). Her love was unrequited but she soldiered on and eventually fell in love with a nice boy, from her own house of Ravenclaw. He was a seventh year and she a sixth and he too helped her become the woman she is today. They had a very good, positive relationship but in the end they just drifted apart. After two years of travelling the world, Queenie was ready to settle down and start a career, her boyfriend however wanted to travel more and so they decided to go their separate ways.
Queenie was always good at retaining dates and information. She felt she would have been perfect for the History of Magic position but when she heard Professor Flitwick had retired she was drawn to charms. He had been her own head of house and always impressed upon her that she would make a good teacher and so she applied for the job at just age twenty, her confidence boosted thanks to her old head of house and charms professor and it was nearly what it is today.
Since then Queenie has fallen in love with teaching, she has become more confident and strong willed, she's also found that she can be quite stubborn, despite being a fair person usually. She is quick to make friends with her welcoming personality but usually will only give people one chance unless she believes they deserve a second, this does not apply to students however. Any student that wishes to be taught she will go out of her way to help. She is very dedicated to her job and has extra classes once a week where she'll teach anything. Every wednesday evenings from six til eight she'll go over whatever any student needs help with and if there's a little extra, she'll take some time during the weekends to help them out. Sometimes she feels a little disappointed when some students don't try in her class and so she likes to make an effort to reach out to them after class.

All of Queenie's life has been quiet. She was an over achiever in Hogwarts and her parents expected nothing less. Being an only child she was expected to be the top of her class by her parents. They focused a lot of their time and energies on teaching her the best ways to study and learn and thankfully, those lessons stuck.
Queenie's father was a high school teacher and, until Queenie received her Hogwarts letter, had no idea about the magical world that her mother had kept from him through fear that he would leave. It took a little getting used to for Mervin but he came around to the idea and was pleased that his daughter was special.
Queenie learnt fast and well through Hogwarts but became a bit of a push over, other students were able to use her to get them to do their homework and she never really stood up for herself. Her friends stood up for her more than she did.
Queenie always had a rather huge crush on a boy she'd been to primary school with. He was a muggle born and when they saw one another on the Hogwarts Express, they knew they'd have a fantastic time together. Queenie was sorted into Ravenclaw and her friend was a Hufflepuff.
Through the years no boys ever really looked at Queenie until she was in her sixth year. She was asked out by a seventh year Ravenclaw and the two were together for over three years but they parted ways after two years of travelling. Queenie became and Professor and her ex continued travelling the world.
To this day, Queenie loves her job and this year has been promoted to Head of Ravenclaw. It suits her down to the ground and she does not regret joining the Hogwarts staff so early in her life. She is a passionate individual about learning and helping others to achieve their very best, no matter what the subject.
