Benji has quite a long face, his jaw squares out a little at the bottom and his cheeks are a little gaunt. His hair is a dirty sort of blonde/brown combination and his eyebrows match his hair, a combination of dirty blond and brown. When he grows facial hair Benji finds that it usually has a reddish tinge so he shaves fairly frequently.
Benji's eyes are a light blue and look almost unremarkable until you get close. When you are close enough you can see an intricate pattern and the closer to his pupil, the lighter the colour of his eye gets until it's almost a green-white combination.
Benji is a comfortable 6'1" and has not grown even a millimetre in a while. He's pretty sure that he has finished growing but wouldn't mind another inch or so. He's quite weedy looking though so he wants to bulk up a bit but no matter what he does he just doesn't seem to gain weight though as of yet he has not tried exercise.

Benji's personality was very much shaped in the early years of his life. He was taught everything from an early age and could read by the time he was three. His mother had little else to do with her life than care for Benji and look after him, teaching him everything she could.
Books are a major part of Benji's life, he's a big reader and hasn't found a book he did not enjoy, whether fiction or non-fiction he always took something away from what he read.
Benji mostly enjoys reading things that will help him with school and magic. He's not a very physical sort of person but likes things to be neat and clean. Order is important to Benji.
Benji is okay with a wand. He can get his physical work done quite well but prefers writing essays or reading assignments. He's much better suited to the accedmic side of life.
Benji has little to no interaction with girls. He has very little to say to them despite finding some quite attractive. Benji has trouble with talking to girls he likes and would rather sit in a corner of the library, reading. Though if a girl he liked were to start conversation, talking to him, he's not sure how he would respond.
Despite being clever and socially inept, Benji has quite a dark view of how the world should be. His mother shaped this and it was only encouraged by his adoptive father, Pyrus.
Benji has a low tolerance for people that don't try academically. He only respects those with a sharp mind and that he can have a conversation with, if he were to have a conversation with anyone.
Bullies are the bane of Benji's existence. He gets teased for being adopted, for being smart, for being kind of funny looking like a stick insect and he also gets teased for having a parent at Hogwarts. Still he mocks these people to their faces and is more than capable of looking after himself with a few offensive and a lot of defensive spells.

It had been 24 years since the end of the war that saw the defeat of The Dark Lord. Hilam and Nikola Hoxley had devoted their lives to the Death Eaters and their work. At the time of the siege on the castle, Hilam was the only Hoxley there, siding with the death eaters. Nikola was at Saint Mungo's, miscarrying what was to be their first child.
At the battle of Hogwarts, Hilam was unmasked and revealed a death eater. He struck down those that saw him and ran as soon as there was no hope of the death eaters winning. Only he didn't kill or erase any memories, in his panic he just knocked them unconscious with the weaknesses of his spell and fled.
When Hilam's victims woke up, they all swore the same thing and from then on, Hilam Hoxley was a wanted man. He ran for years, visiting his wife, whose name was cleared, only once in a while. Through these short meetings they conceived a child at the beginning of the new year 2004.
In early September 2004 Benjamin was born a couple of weeks ahead of schedule. Life was good. It was just him and his mother for most of his life. He saw his father probably three times a year and it was the most fantastic times of his life.
On Benji's fifth birthday, Hilam was captured in front of Benji's very eyes. Auror after Auror surrounded his father and took him away. He was found guilty but his mother claimed she had no idea he would show and as such was eventually found innocent of aiding and abetting a criminal.
Benji can remember crying himself to sleep over so many nights. Months probably if not years. He loved his father greatly, was always spoilt and glad to see him. Everything his father did for him, Benji remembered.
Of course Benji also loved his mother greatly. She taught him everything he needed to know about the muggle filth, mudbloods and blood traitors and taught him that he was truly better than everyone else that walked the planet because he was a pureblood but sadly purebloods were a dying breed. She shared her visions with Benji, that one day there would be only purebloods in the magical world, but to do that there had to be laws passed, marriage laws to bind purebloods to purebloods and have them produce many, many pureblooded children which would then go on to marry other purebloods and any that were squibs or that became blood traitors were seen to in the most stern of ways.
Benji seldom talked to anyone other than his mother. They lived a rather recluse lifestyle just waiting for the day Benji would get his Hogwart's letter, however his mother never saw his Hogwarts letter. She died in June, the month before his letter arrived of unknown causes.
Benji was taken in to care and his father agreed to put him up for adoption, seeing that he was going to be in Azkaban fro quite a few years to come and during Benji's short time at the muggle orphanage he was adopted by Pyrus Adair, the process being run through quite swiftly. At first Benji was sceptical of the man but soon Benji grew to love him as a real father, one that was always there for him no matter what. Benji grew to know of Pyrus' feelings towards mudbloods and bloodtraitors and grew to love his siblings too. He enjoyed having a family, a proper family and being able to socialise with others, even though he wasn't great at it.
Going to Diagon Alley for his school things was a great experience and memory for Benji. He shopped for his school things with his siblings and Pyrus and even had ice cream. As much as he had loved his mother she had never taken him out, he spent most of his time inside, reading or in the garden, reading. There had been little else for him to do other than knit (yes, he knows how to knit and how to crochet too).
Hogwart's was a world of wonder for Benji, it was everything he imagined and more. He was sorted into Ravenclaw and blossomed into a real intellectual.
Now in his seventh and final year Benji is a prefect but turned down the position of Head Boy when it was offered for he has more important things to be doing. He is one of the leaders of the Shadow's and plans on making his last year at Hogwarts a memorable one before making his way up the Ministry of Magic ladder to eventually sit in the office of the Minister as ruler of all Magical beings across the United Kingdom.
