Starting from the top, Bow has dark brown hair and a little bit of a wide forehead. He keeps his hair cut short and spiked up with product, he knows he looks good and no one can put him down based on his appearance alone, he's just too good looking. Bow has thick eyebrows and there's not a whole lot he can do about them but groom them twice a day to stop them from getting too out of control. He wont wax and he definitely wont pluck them.
He has brown eyes that light up when he smiles and he frequently smiles. He's easily impressed and makes friends quite easily thanks to his laid back smile. Bow's nose is ever so slightly crooked from when he broke it falling off of his bike on his way to school. He was nine years old and quite glad for the day off.
Bow's not quite as tall as some of the boys in his year but he's not the shortest which is a blessing. He stands at 5'6" and he's pretty sure he's all but stopped growing, despite both his parents being tall and telling him he'll probably soon have a growth spurt.
Bow's a physical sort that loves to play quidditch. He plays as seeker though his ideal position would be Keeper. He runs drills with his team and keeps up with the fittest, all though he knows he's got quite a way to go before physical perfection.

At aged ten, not long after he got his first pet, a little black and white cat from the pound named Ariel, he started getting itchy, he hid it from his parents for weeks until he went into anaphylactic shock and his parents realised he was covered in bumps and scratches from where he'd been itching himself. It was a severe reaction due to the long exposure. He remembered not being able to breathe, hearing his mother scream and his father run to the phone, yelling for an ambulance before he blacked out.

Cat with an extra bright silvery patch in it's chest where his cat Ariel had been white, finding out he was technically dead for five minutes. He loved being alive and made every moment after count.

Bow is a friendly sort of guy that finds it easy to make friends with pretty much anyone. He's giving and generous and willing to lend a hand to help a mate out. He can't really stay mad at anyone for too long because he's not at all stubborn. He's very forgiving over all the little things.
Being a muggleborn Slytherin some might think that he's shunned by the purebloods or hardcore Gryffindors that want to relive the old rivalry days but truth is Bow really does get on with everyone, pureblood extremists to Slytherin haters, there's rarely a person that could hate this guy. He makes it his purpose to make people happy and they all just love him for it.
At heart Bow feels he's a bit of a ladies man. He's into romance and treating a girl right but that doesn't mean he'll be in it for the long run. He enjoys to wine and dine but he gets bored of people quite quickly. They're either too talky, too quiet, know too much and confuse him on too many topics, not know anything of current events or even something completely different but he always finds a reason not to be with a girl which you might think makes him a bad guy and that all or at least some of his ex's don't get on with him but they all still adore him! It's like magic! Bow just keeps things real and stays pretty honest with his ex's and they usually respect him for it.
Bow's not the smartest guy but he's not exactly dumb either. Being from a muggle family with no knowledge of the magic world he dove into all that he could find about magic. He spent his first three years in the school library, immersing himself in all sorts of books. He still finds everything about magic amazing and always completes his homework the very day he gets it but he has a hard time retaining information and revising is a night mare, still he does okay with his exams and his essays are always good because he does them while the information from the day is still settled in his head.
Bow doesn't think about the future all that often but when he does he sees how he wants things to be. He wants a job as a healer. He always sees himself with a wife and a large family. Six, seven, twenty kids. He doesn't care. He just knows that in his future he will adore his wife and have plenty of kids, adopted and not.

Bow is short for Bowman which is actually Bow's middle name. Bow has nearly died twice in his life and he has survived. A combination of luck, love and determination.
Barney Bowman Archer was named after his father when he was born at 23 weeks when his mother started bloating up from pre-eclampsia. 17 weeks before his due date. He was in intensive care for long, nearly died and yet his mother and father kept on fighting for him. Both of his parents worked in private hospitals and so were able to pull a lot of strings to get him the absolute best care imaginable. At the time of his birth his parents had not decided on a name and as they thought there was no chance of him living past a week, decided to name him after his father.
Keeping positive his parents stayed by his bedside, reading him stories every day. His mother and father constantly read to him, from baby books to newspapers, funny anecdotes to novels. Anything and everything was read and said, just so he could hear his parents voices, even when sleeping.
Bow obviously lived and was privileged to grow up quite well off. His mother kept a sterile house and did everything for him. He never got sick until he went to school. He caught everything going and from the age of seven he was home schooled by his mother who gave up her job to look after him full time.
Bow always did fairly well at school because he'd always do his homework the moment he got home. His mother was very strict with him about that and so the information he was taught during the day, stayed in his mind until he got home, wrote it all down again and then he'd forget it. It was a floored system but he never got held back and his teachers and parents always thought he was quite smart.
At age ten the cat incident occurred. He had been tested at age four for all sorts of allergies, including, but not limited to, cats. He was not allergic to anything at the time and so his parents thought that a cat would be a good show of responsibility as he matured.
One thing lead to another and Bow woke in hospital. His mother hugged him so lightly because she was so fearful she would do more damage to him and his father patted his leg, a tear in his eye. Bow realised then that he was his parents absolute everything and just how much he loved living.
He was tested again for all range of allergies and only cats came up positive. He begged his parents for a puppy and after meeting with one a few times in a litter, he adopted a little german shepherd and called him Flounder, to match the Little Mermaid theme of his little cat, Ariel.
At age eleven Bow found out that he was a wizard. He couldn't ever recall making things happen but he wondered if it was his magical abilities that helped keep him alive. He'd been technically dead twice in his life. Surely he had a higher purpose and magic had something to do with it?
Bow and his parents were shown Diagon Alley, they'd never seen such a full place, absolutely packed with witches and wizards. Bow had one of the greatest days of his life shopping for his school things and his parents seemed to really enjoy themselves too.
To help stop him from getting sick at school he takes a magical immune system booster which helps keep him healthy and stops his body from over reacting to germs and cats.
Bow was sorted into Slytherin at the sorting ceremony and there was no real reason why. The sorting hat just 'hmmm'ed and 'uhhmmm'ed for a little while before placing him in the house of the snake. Though Bow was happy to be wherever. He was looking forward to Hogwarts.
Now Bow is in his sixth year. He enjoys being outside a lot but misses his parents greatly. He imagines a lot of other students miss home too and so tries to be as friendly as possible to people. He likes to help make them feel good and if they're all ready having a great day he likes to brighten it even more. He's just a laid back, easy going type of boy whose parents are proud of.
