Born with blonde hair and what looked like black eyes, Iosif Antonin Dolohov was convinced that the new baby his wife was holding was not his own. No one in his family or hers, had blonde hair and black eyes, however, over the next few days, her eyes became a gentle blue that he recognised from his own grandmother. During the following weeks Veronikeia's hair became darker until she was three months old when it became a very dark blonde with a lot of light brown, the same as his father's hair and eventually, a dark brown, just like his own.
Veronikeia grew up an ugly looking sort of child until one day, she was asked out at school by a boy. It was from then on that Veronikeia started taking more care of her appearance. For the first time in years, the young girl actually looked at her face properly and realised how beautiful she had become. Blue eyes, luscious, thick hair with incredible colours through it, porcelain skin and a nose her face had eventually grown into.
Having always been teased by her younger brother and sister for being ugly when she was younger, Veronikeia grew to have low self-esteem, never pulling out her mothers make-up and trying it all on, never being interested in clothes, or shoes, or handbags, or any other kind of accessories. Veronikeia grew up being a very plain girl to look at, until her fifth year when she started buying make-up on the quiet and secretly trying different looks with a mirror, just sat on her bed. She's even tried plucking her eyebrows so they're not as thick and unattractive and, as much as it hurt, she was very pleased with the outcome.
A couple things about Veronikeia that have never changed are her weight and her height, sure, she's obviously grown and got heavier, but she's always been distinctively average for her age and has always been slim and light. She stands at five foot six and a half and weighs about 110 lbs. She's never been a particularly big eater, but she's no way anorexic or bulimic. She likes food and, some how, just keeps her slim figure no matter what.
Since trying out make-up she's become engrossed in how it can change an appearance, she's become more out going for events, really dressing herself up, colour everywhere to truly express herself. For so long she felt drab, ugly, grey and she lived in the shadows but once she was asked out, had a confidence boost, she started expressing herself, expressing all the bright colours she was feeling inside, on the outside. She also uses charms to temporarily change her eye colour, she enjoys pink the most and has permanently turned her hair red, though occasionally with a purple tinge.

Veronikeia started off life a very quiet sort of girl, she had no personality when compared with her younger brother and sister. She was always placid right up to her years at Hogwarts, it was only when she was asked out on a date that she started to take notice of herself and how she looked. Ever since that moment she ventured out and has become what some might call a little eccentric while others would label her expressive, regardless of what other people think Ronni is well on the way to becoming who she wants to be in life.
She's always een raised to believe in good blood and bad blood, she being pure blooded had good blood, anyone with less that that was bad blood, even half bloods but since becoming her own sort of person she's started questioning that and making friends of all houses and blood status, though it hasn't been an easy road as she started off with a very low opinion of people and spoke to them as if they weren't good enough for her.
Since coming out of her shell Ronni has become more friendly and helping towards others, it's hard convincing people she's changed and she does so through her actions and not words, she's not afraid to stand up to her siblings any more and enjoys that they find her infuriating. She can dress quite colourfully and certainly stands out in a crowd, people tend to gossip about her but she's learnt to let that go.

Veronikeia Iolite Dolohov was born the first live child of Antonin and Nikki Dolohov. Before her there had bee three miscarriages and she too was nearly a miscarriage, born two months early she was cared for every second of every day for the first year of her life. And then came along her brother. An heir, the son her father had wanted from the beginning and he became the apple of everyone's eye, soon came a third child, a daughter and she was the baby, the youngest, the most spoilt and so Ronni was just left to fade into the background, to please herself with her fathers books.
Despite her parents trying for another son no more children came to the Dolohov family, only disappointment after disappointment with each new miscarriage. Ronni, however, did not know what was going on and none of the children were ever informed of their mother's pregnancies due to her inability to carry to term, apart from their three little miracles.
Ronni's siblings were always special to their parents, her brother because he was a boy and would carry on with the family name, and her sister because she was the little princess, the baby of the family and with her sister having a birthday so close to Ronni's, on more than one occasion she had been forgotten about. As if this wasn't bad enough her brother and sister thought it fun to pull pranks on her, call her names and just smoother any self-esteem she might have had so when it came time for school Ronni was a nervous wreck, feeling as though everyone was going to be mean to her like her siblings were. To her delight tat did not turn out to be the case.
Ronni was nearly sorted into Ravenclaw but begged the sorting hat for Slytherin to make her parents take a slight bit of notice of her, though it didn't work and she regretted not asking for Hufflepuff, they would have yelled, sent howlers, but at least it would have been some kind of acknowledgement.
The years passed by and Ronni became self-important, thinking herself better than most because her blood was pure, her brother and sister had nothing to do with her despite all of them being in the same house, still when her fifth year came about and she was asked out by a boy, she saw herself in a whole new light. Since then she's become more colourful, more creative, more sincere and far more expressive and nice no matter what a persons blood status. Her mother and father finally started showing an interest in their eldest daughter, all be it negative but she didn't care about them any more, she was finally being who she wanted to be despite still having a soft spot for her daddy.
Since changing in her fifth year she's made a few real friends yet some people still don't accept that she's really changed, but she doesn't care, she hopes that through her actions she can gain their trust and just be who she wants to be.
