Molly Georgina Weasley was born to Audrey Moon and Percy Weasley at the very beginning of 2004, just past the stroke of midnight. She was born a little over 11 months before her sister. Named after her grandmother and deceased uncle on her mothers side honouring both sides of her family and because of this, Molly felt quite family bound, always wanting to please and do well in the eyes of everyone, even going so far as to want to be a Gryffindor, just like the majority of her family.
Trips to Grandma Weasley's were always the best for Molly. She enjoyed baking and cooking and helping grandma Weasley clean up. Grandpa Weasley was the funnest in Molly's eyes and she loved learning all about different muggle things. Knowledge of different things was wondrous to Molly and still is but she has never been and will never be one to learn much from a book and to find her in the stuffy, confined shelves of the library? Forget about it! Molly is one to learn from doing and doing and doing until she gets things right, and that was why her Grandpa Weasley was the funnest, because he helped her take things like plugs apart and rebuild them time and time again, Molly learnt fast this way and it stuck with her, all the way up to her years at Hogwarts.
Never having much of a chance to be an only child and yet being the eldest was never much of a task for Molly. She was a little bit bossy, a little bit snatchy and a little bit 'Mine' when it came to all things when she was a toddler and although most babies and toddlers went through this stage, Molly seemed to hold onto it for quite a while, becoming a possessive child that never wanted her parents to leave her side, or her grandparents, she was quite the clingy sort and a lot of the time jealous of others, what they had and who they were with. Annoyingly for others around her, that has stuck with her all though she tries her best not to let it get to her or to show it to others because she knows other wise, she'll end up with no friends and that's a thought that scares her quite a lot.
Molly is quite a loyal and brave sort of girl and not afraid to stand up to others. She doesn't believe that any one person is better than anyone else, not even her, so she's gotten into a few fights while she's been at Hogwarts. She's also quite kind hearted and empathetic to others in tough situations. She finds it easy to slip into their situation, feel the emotions they feel and try to cheer them up. Molly would never pass a crying person or someone in need of a shoulder to cry on because she can't help but feel sorry for people and their situations, no matter what they're like.
Even in school now Molly loves to learn, she'll read her text books once and then go straight into practicing magic. She loves to learn but she hates to read, to her it is a waste of time and an inconvenience, learning by doing is faster and more fun for this red-head and sometimes she forgets that it's not the same for everyone else.
Molly tries to get ahead of her class by practicing magic in her spare time, she'll read a bit and practice, practice, practice until she's got it perfectly but when she does this, she sometimes neglects her friends or even other lessons. Still she tries her best to learn everything she needs to for her lessons.
Usually for Molly, she is seen on the grounds without and socks or shoes. Day or night, nature is Molly's true love. The open spaces, the fresh breezes, the feel of the grass between her toes and the fragrances of the seasons, Molly loves all of nature and what she can do with it. Whether it's swimming or her nature based lessons, Molly excels when it comes to the things she loves including school subjects of potions, Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures. She knows how different elements effect the overall result and enjoys it when things go perfectly, just how she plans, however when things do not go according to plan Molly is not quite so happy. She has been known to throw a few tantrums and has blown up a few books and desks when things have annoyed her to the point that she gets mad at everything and everyone.
To make things worse for dear Molly she is quite clumsy, accidentally adding an extra drop to a potion, making the thing explode, walking down the corridors and tripping over her own two feet and even just standing still she sometimes finds that she's actually moving and about to fall back or forwards. She has no sense of balance at all and her parents believe it was because as a baby, she had bad ears, constantly getting infections and such, whatever the cause, her own clumsiness does not help her easily aggravated temper.
Although Molly doesn't mean to do it, she is quite the trouble maker, amongst friends or boys or even family, Molly is a bit of a gossip and sometimes things can get quite out of hand, she'll find herself in the middle of a gossiping war and it was all started just because she couldn't keep a secret. Most people have learnt by now not to trust Molly with a secret but that has never stopped her from hogging any limelight she can get. Telling stories, lies or gossip makes Molly the center of attention and she loves the feeling she gets when she knows people are watching her, good or bad she thrives on it.
When she's alone, Molly is quite a quiet sort of person. She'll get on with her spells and her potions and even with just one other person around, she can be quite mellow and talking calmly, but when there's a group of people about of she's really excited about a topic of conversation, Molly's voice gets quite loud and she doesn't even realise she's doing it. Her friends have to remind her to calm it down and take it down a notch otherwise she stays loud for the rest of the day.
Still, Molly is a loyal friend to have and always open to making new friends, despite her tendency to gossip and would do nearly anything for her friends and even though sometimes she might neglect her friends for schoolwork, she has been known to do the opposite. Molly needs to find a balance between friends and school work and as of yet, she's had no luck.
