physical
physical appearance
Being five feet and seven inches tall, Triss is leggy, and slender and beautiful. She casts quite an imposing shadow, with her perfectly sculptured body, though it does take a lot of hard work for her to get it to it's slim and toned state. She spends a lot of time working out and being active. She always has a tan, which varies from moderate, to slightly over-the-top in the hottest months of the year, when she's not afraid to walk around half-naked in bikini's and show her hard work off.
She has a very slender face, with sculpted cheekbones and a perfectly straight nose. Her lips are full and fleshy, formed in a perfect pout, and her teeth have been molded into a Hollywood smile with years of wearing braces as a child to straighten them. She has quite large eyes, in a pure shade of sparkling blue that she inherited from both her mother and father, dark, strongly-shaped brows atop them. Her hair is long, and often sits in very light waves down her back, a rich dark brown in colour, she straightens it a lot, and mostly wears it down, though she does sometimes experiment with styles.

personality
likes
Reading, listening to the news on the radio, learning, Astronomy, working out, listening to random conversations of the people around her, being smarter than others, getting the best grades achievable, having lots of money, spending lots of money, cats, pretty boys.
dislikes
Having to share her things or her time too much, being called Beatrice, disappointing her parents, competitive people (since she's so competitive herself), Mudbloods (as her father would call them), people beating her to answers in class, other bitchy girls, dumb people, dogs, Care of Magical Creatures.
erised
To always please her parents. To be allowed to make her own judgements on things, instead of being told how to think or what to say by her father on life's bigger issues. To work in the Hall of Prophecies (though she changes her mind on this one every other day).
amortentia
Cotton, Wisteria, burnt sugar.
boggart
Dogs (though she tries her best to hide it), her fathers temper, failing her final exams, following the same path as her parents.
dementor
Triss' worst memory is the time she was attacked and bitten by a dog that belonged to a family friend. The mongrel took an instant dislike to nine year old Triss, and bit her right on the bum. She still has faint teeth marks there, which she despises. She won't go near dogs to this day.
patronus
Cat. Her happiest memory is the day she got her O.W.L results in her fifth year. Opening the letter and seeing that she had managed to score 'O's for every single lesson (except for COMC, in which she got an 'E') made her actually cry, right there in front of her parents. She had worked her butt off all year and didn't think she would manage something like that.
overall personality
Really speaking, Triss is a bit of a bitch. She was spoiled rotten her whole life, and it shows. She likes to get her own way, and be in charge most of the time, and she has a very sharp, uncensored tongue on her. She's a bit of a snob, and was raised to be a Pureblood elitist, though she will befriend Half-bloods, if they're the right sort of person. It's not that she chooses to be that way, and she would never call anyone a Mudblood, it's just been drilled into her from day one, and it's normal for her to believe that the only way the magical world can ever be truly powerful is to get rid of all of the Muggle blood that creeps in like a plague, weakening the bloodlines and the magic in families. It's all about preservation, and Triss is a master of it. Especially when it comes to herself.
She looks out for number one all of the time, and doesn't really care too much about what's going on with other people, except for the rare few she is very close with. For those people, she will go to the ends of the earth, supportive, generous, loyal (to an extent). She does have her good points, of course. She's very intelligent, loves to learn and soaks information up like a sponge. She's a hard worker, always has her nose stuck in a book. She's quite a quiet girl, not one of those in-your-face-brats who parade about like they own the place. Triss' approach is much more subtle, she works best in the background as the brains of operations. She is also very giving, despite being spoiled, she likes to donate money to causes that she believes in, though she never tells anyone about it as she thinks it will be classed as a weakness on her part. She's kind enough to feed stray cats, and often around Hogwarts she can be seen sitting in a corner surrounded by everyone's pets, though she shies away from anything other than felines, since she's not too keen on other animals.
Teachers often view her in the best kinds of light, since she makes sure to excel in her lessons, and it's obvious how desperate she is to be the best. She often bypasses social gatherings to sit in the common room and study, so it's not often that she actually is seen out and about having fun. She will attend official school events, and let her hair down, there, but don't expect to see her living it up around the castle like some hare-brained idiot, because she has much more important things to be doing. Like securing her future. She's quite unemotional a lot of the time, and saves things like crying for total privacy, which can make her come across as a bit cold, this is purely to save face though. She's not a robot, despite the rumours.

history
Born to Benjamin and Olivia Halliwell, Beatrice Winter Halliwell was named after her father's sister, and the season in witch she was born. Being raised by Death Eaters was normal for little Triss, who showed intelligence and resilience from a very young age. She caught her mothers snooty attitude right away, and her father's love of spending. They were rich - thanks to an inheritance from Triss' late grandfather - and so their only child was spoiled as much as possible. They showered her with everything she could have possibly wanted all her life, and she became demanding of it by the time she got to the age of five. It was drilled into her that Purebloods were the only magical folk worth your time, and anyone else were either blood traitors, or scum, and she went along with that obliviously her whole life, not questioning it until much later on.
Living with just her parents in their huge manor was ok. They tended to rattle around in it a bit, and there was always lots of space - physically and emotionally - to not have to always be bothered by someone. Triss spent her time with her nose buried in books in her father's library, learning all she could. It was obvious that she was outstanding in her intelligence, but her parents hoped she would be sorted into Slytherin house, like they were, when it came to her attending Hogwarts. At the age of eleven, she was packed off to school, with a very cool, unemotional send off, as was the usual for the Halliwell's, and she accepted her fate with dignity and her head held high, already bitching people out on the train journey, and asserting herself as someone who wouldn't take any crap. When it came to the Sorting Ceremony, the hat wanted desperately to put her in Ravenclaw, but Triss resolutely refused. She knew where she belonged, and it wasn't in the dungeons. She wanted to be in Ravenclaw, where she knew she would have more opportunity to prove her intelligence to the world, and not be stuck with any dark stereotypes like her parents, but fear kept her from it. Under threats from her father, she stubbornly insisted upon Slytherin, even though she knew it was the wrong thing for her.
She made enough friends to be satisfied, and managed to gain a reputation for being cold and snappy in general, thanks to the fact that she just doesn't care about the feelings of others that much. She did well in all of her lessons, except for Care of Magical Creatures, which she always struggles with, thanks to her reluctance to get up close and personal with most animals. She always said that she wanted to work in the Department of Mysteries when she left school, but now, in her seventh and final year, she keeps changing her mind, unsure of what she truly wants her path to be. Her parents want her to become a member of the Dark Knights, but that's not something she will ever be interested in. She may not have much of a choice in it, though, if her father has anything to do with it. For now, she pins her hopes on more satisfying career choices, and works her arse off every day to make sure she has every option possible when she graduates.
