physical appearance
When it comes to appearance, Carson has all the fittings of a California beach babe (without actually being from California) covered completely; with wavy tresses of the blonde variety that reach to the base of her shoulder blades and sparkling blue eyes, she could fit right in with the stereotype. To be more specific, her hair a bleach blonde that is usually left down to float around her head with a natural wave, though it can be seen up in a ponytail, bun, or side braid upon occasion. Her eyes are a startling shade of blue with a habit of changing to different shades depending on her mood. As everyone always says, the eyes are like windows to the soul, and Carson is no exception. When she is happy, her eyes are a lovely shade of blue that could even be considered a blue-grey, heavy on the blue. However, when she is angry they become a stormy grey. It’s just something that happens.
Carson can be seen wearing minimal amounts of make-up adorning her features, allowing her natural beauty to shine through. Usually, she just wears a little bit of eyeliner, mascara, and cherry-flavored tinted chapstick, and that’s pretty much it. Honestly, she is really just too lazy to bother with anything else. However, when it comes to her nails, it is an entirely different story. She has a love of painting her nails and she can be known to change them quite frequently, experimenting with new colors and glitters often. She is a fan of shatter and crackle and anything that makes her nails different and unique, covering up the natural pink and making them stand out, giving her hands a little pop of color. She stands at a modest 5 feet, 7 inches and weighs in at 146 pounds exactly with a thin, yet feminine figure that is usually adorned with a variety of styles of clothing when she isn’t forced to wear the Hogwarts uniform.
Though she’ll wear an array of different types, Carson is most fond of clothes that are convenient and comfortable, such as a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. She is a lover of simplicity, wearing band t-shirts and darkwash jeans, pairing them with a hoodie and some sneakers. When it comes to shoes, one can never go wrong with a pair of Chuck Taylor Converse All-Star High Tops, in Carson’s opinion, and she has quite the collection of the shoe type, varying in different colors in shades. However, she also enjoys a nice dress and a pair of heels on occasion, and she also has quite the number of heels, flats, and boots that complete her extensive shoe collection.

dementor
Once, when Carson was little and unaware of how special she was and how different she was from the other children her age, she and another little girl in her preschool class got into a fight. What they were fighting over, Carson can no longer remember, but the other child had done something to anger the young blonde and with just the mere thought of causing her pain, the other little girl was suddenly hurt. The other children that had been around her had no idea what had happened and no one knew it was her, but she did. She knew, though she didn’t know quite how, that she had brought harm to this little girl, who was actually rather injured and was even sent to the hospital because her arm was broken. It is a memory that Carson has never forgotten and never forgiven herself for.
patronus
A Labradoodle puppy – Carson’s best memory happens to be when she got her letter to Hogwarts. Even though she had no idea what was going on or what was in store for her, she was still accepted by her family for being different, and that was probably the happiest she had ever felt in her life.
overall personality
Overall, Carson is a rather friendly and helpful girl, helping those in her house when they come to her with a question or in need of advice. She is a good student, always punctual to turn in her assignments and a good-listener in class. She is intelligent and witty, and she is always there to give the correct answer when needed. She is friendly enjoys talking to people and making friends, and she can be very good at keeping a conversation if you can find the right topic. However, this can be a bit difficult at times, seeing as she grew up in the Muggle world and is accustomed to things that many of her peers don't quite get into, though she is knowledgable in Wizarding world things as well, so she should be able to find something of common interest. If she can find someone with similar interests, she is talkative and bubbly, able to talk your ear off. She, in all honesty, will probably not stop talking once you get her going. Carson is also rather caring; she is a good person by nature and she abstains from drinking, even if alcohol is offered to her. She is trustworthy and protective, and she doesn't take kindly to people messing with her friends. She is very loyal to a friend and she tries her best to never hurt somebodies feelings. She hates it when people hurt her feelings, so she goes out of her way to try not hurt the feelings of others, though she can sometime do so without meaning to. She can be a rather naïve and unthinking person in character, no matter how book smart she may be, and she often has a tendency to speak before she has finished her thought. This also makes her come off as a bumbling idiot at times, seeing as she does voice her thoughts and questions before she has really given herself a chance to consider them and figure them out herself. She is also incredibly innocent with the interests and attitude of a child, which is probably why she gets along with children. However, she also doesn’t tend to get many perverted jokes and she often feels uncomfortable with certain conversations.
However, Carson is also easily irritated and she hates to be proven wrong. Telling her that she is wrong and trying to explain to her why she is wrong after she has acknowledged, unhappily, that she is indeed incorrect is one of her biggest pet peeves. It annoys her to no end when somebody tries to explain her incorrectness to her like she’s stupid. She doesn’t take criticism well, but it can help push her to be better on some occasions. However, most of the time it just leaves her a blubbery mess or feeling insecure about herself. She also happens to be a very emotional person who happens to have low self-esteem, and she can be effected by the slightest jab at one of her insecurities. Carson is rather sensitive and can be hurt easily, often over the smallest things. She has a tendency to misinterpret things or read too far in to the tone of voice or the exact words that were said. However, she isn’t the type to show her anger or hurt through words or physical acts; she tends to just not talk to you for several days, ignoring you and anything to do with you, seeing as she can hold quite the grudge. She is a person who does not forgive easily and if you hurt her or one of her friends, you had better work hard to get back into her good graces. She can be quite childish and spoiled at times, being raised in a family that was rather well-off, but she believes in sharing and she always tries to make sure everything is evenly divided. She also does not take well to orders (unless from a higher authority); she will most likely help someone if they ask her nicely and say please in a non-condescending tone, but if you just tell her to do something and expect her to just follow your every beck and call, she will not be pleased.
Carson is also known among her friends to be quite sarcastic. In fact, she is quite fluent in sarcasm and often times people can’t tell if she is being serious or not. She has a tendency to talk with a straight face and say something that could be hurtful or anger someone if they aren’t used to her speech and behavior, but she tends to only do this to a friend that she has had for years. Often times, she will give her comment with a smile, letting the person know that she is joking and not actually trying to hurt or offend them. While she is quite intelligent, especially when it the material is over Herbology or anything that has to do with something of interest to her, she despises school with every fiber of her being, as she is also quite lazy. She hates having to work for anything and she procrastinates until the last minute, but she makes sure she ends up doing everything. Bullies are another reason she detests school, as they always relentless pick on people’s flaws so nobody ever sees the good parts of themselves, only the bad. She also is a rather impatient person when it comes to most things, making a rather terrible Hufflepuff in her opinion. She just really hates waiting on things.

history
From the moment that she was born, Carson was showered with love and affection from her parents, a young couple that had been married for five years before having their first and only child. Having met when they were in school, the two had been high school sweethearts and had loved each other from early on in life; romances like this hardly ever last, but these two were an exception, and their love for each other was only shadowed by their love for their daughter. They doted on her and provided her with a stable and happy family life, their home being located on a rather prosperous side of town and close to major stores and anything essential to a happy home life. The only problem that Carson ever had growing up was that her parents were hardly ever around, as one was a lawyer and one was a doctor, and the two were constantly working. They hardly ever had time to spend with their young daughter and from a very early age, and Carson would have been lonely, had she not had her grandmother there to watch over her. The mother of her father, her grandmother was a widow and lived in the guest bedroom of her home, seeing as she was growing old and unable to afford living on her own. While Carson’s parents were busy with work, she was taken care of by her and watched over, and her grandmother always made sure that she was fed and entertained. She even let the young girl help her bake, giving Carson an unhealthy obsession with pasteries and all things sweet from an early age. She knew that her parents loved her dearly and would do anything for her and because of her grandmother she was never lonely. Up until school started, she was a relatively happy child.
Once the young blonde was old enough, Carson was sent to school to learn and be with children her age, making friends and interacting; with the kind and friendly temperament that she had been bestowed, she was rather popular with the children, and with her ability to learn quickly she was well-liked by her teachers. She was an all-around good student and she loved going to school. While she loved her grandmother to death and could never really repay her for the countless hours she had spent taking care of her growing up, Carson loved being around people that were her age that had interests that were similar to hers. It was nice, being able to make friends and just get to know people that were just like her, even though she had a new found hatred for the curriculum and the work. No amount of natural intelligence could get the lazy girl to enjoy having to do things. However, as she began to get older and make her way through the school system, she began to realize that the other students that she interacted with were not just like her. Ever since she was little she could do things that other children couldn’t do, small things that were seen as just minor moments of wonderment; nothing ever very serious. Her parents had told her while she was growing up, just as every parent tells their child, that she was special and unique and unlike all the other children; they had no idea how special she actually was.
It was morning of her eleventh birthday that Carson finally knew why she could do things that no other person she knew could. After waking up and having a pleasant breakfast with her parents and grandmother, along with plenty of ‘thank you’s’ for the gifts that she had been given, there was a curious knock on the door. Carson had just gone upstairs to put away her things when it happened, and she had thought nothing of it at first. After all, the mail man would sometimes knock on the door when delivering a package, so it wasn’t anything special or completely uncommon. It wasn’t until the voice of her father, confused and slightly nervous, could be heard upstairs calling for her that Carson knew that something was up. After going downstairs, she was surprised to see somebody clothed in a peculiar fashion standing in her home, dressed in a cloak and holding a letter; a letter, as it turns out, that was addressed to her. It was not easy explaining to the non-magical family was going on and just how special their daughter was, but after much discussion and incredulous looks, the family of four warmed up to the idea. For many days, the house was full of feelings of mixed amazement and shock, with Carson being the most surprised. She was nervous and she was excited, but she was most of all happy that her family continued to love her after learning of her abilities. With their support, she would be able to handle anything.
It had been quite the adventure, her first trip to Diagon Alley, and Carson still couldn’t visit the shopping area without feeling a new wave of amazement hit her. This adventure and sense of wonder carried on into her train ride to the school (which had started with a rather nerve-racking experience of running through a wall, something she and her parents had not been entirely prepared for), and continued still after she was sorted into Hufflepuff, a house filled with kind and hard-working students. Now in her seventh and final year at Hogwarts, Carson is sad to say that her adventure to the school is coming to an end; her time in the school has been filled with happy memories and fun times. She had made friends throughout the years and she will miss the castle where she has spent so much of her life. She is excited to finish her final year with a bang and nervous as to what she will do after graduation; the real adventure for her is about to begin.
