Neve is 5'6, and very slim. She has an athletic build, though is feminine enough still pull off figure-fitting clothes without looking boyish. She has long, slim limbs, and is very fit and toned, thanks to her love of running. She can more often than not be seen in simple jeans and t-shirts, with trainers or boots on her feet, since she likes to be practical most of the time. She has naturally tanned skin, so pale for her, is pretty tanned to those extremely fair people around school, who often give her a look of utter bewilderment when she says she's looking a bit pasty in the winter.
She has a pretty face, rounder in shape and with even features. Her nose is rounded on the end, and doesn't stick out too far from her face, making her look cute, more than anything else. Her eyes are large and dark, in a deep rich brown hue that has a very genuine, trustworthy quality about it. Her lips are average, not too full, not too thin, and hide very nice teeth, as she would put it _ she prides herself on having a decent smile - though she doesn't smile as much as she should (according to her friends). Her hair is very long, falling down to her waist, and there is a lot of it. Naturally poker straight, the thick, dark brown mass sometimes gets scooped up into a ponytail, or waved for a bit of a change.

Neve once got separated from her family on a holiday to Greece. They were there one minute, and six year old Neve turned to look at a Seagull for a minute, turned back, and they were gone. She was hysterical, and completely inconsolable for the strangers that tried to help her. It only lasted for fifteen minutes, when her equally hysterical mum found her again, but the horror of it caused her to be really clingy with her mother for years.

Ox - Neve's happiest memory was the day the Taylor's got their family dog. She was ten at the time, and had begged and begged along with her sisters, until their parents caved and got them a Cocker Spaniel puppy, who they named Wynne. Neve was thrilled, and even took to sleeping on the kitchen floor next to the dog's bed for the first week.

Neve is a very down-to-earth character. She is sensible, level-headed, and extremely loyal and reliable. She prodes herself on being a good friend, and there is nobody more important to her - outside of her family, of course - than her friends. Once you've earned her trust, there's no going back, she will stand by you through thick and thin, and make sure she's always there if you need anything. She's funny around her friends, her wittier side coming out, though her kind of wit is more like a heavy club to the head, and a lot of her jokes fall flat, which makes her funnier, in a way.
She is easy to get along with, and will talk to anyone who is nice to her. She's very generous, and does her best to do well by others, which gets her a great reputation with her teachers, as they often see her helping others out in lessons, or making the shy wallflowers feel more comfortable by sitting with them or striking up conversations. Anybody who is cruel or nasty to her, or even in the same vicinity as her, will be chastised, or ignored. She is very good at making people feel like they've murdered someone, if they do something to upset her. She's not scared to call people out on things, and tell them that they've f***ed up, or need to stop being an arsehole. She doesn't really care if they don't like it, or want to hear it, if she doesn't like what you're doing, she'll let you know, and make you feel awful, in a very calm manner.
She loves to be active in her spare time, and can often be found running around the grounds, or swimming in the lake. She was never one for playing Quidditch, but she loves to watch it, and will participate in pretty much any kind of sports on offer, just for the fun and the exercise of it all. She's very conscientious, and works hard at her studies, since she's not a natural genius, and has perfectly average learning capabilities, which she is fine with. She never claimed to be the brightest tool in the box, but so long as she works hard enough, she makes her parents proud, which is very important to her. Family-orientated, she treats her friends as family, too, and loves nothing more than to just sit around the common room, or out by the lake with them all, chatting and relaxing and just being, with no pressure or worries. Neve is a very good catch, in any capacity, and though she's unaware of it, it's general knowledge around school that you'd be a fool shun a girl like her.

Born in Newport, South Wales to Elliot and Jessica Taylor, Neve was their second daughter, soon to hold the position of joint middle child, with two more daughters following not long after. She was always a good baby, hardly ever crying or keeping her parents up at night. They often commented on how they wished the other three had been like Neve as babies, because she could basically do no wrong. Far from spoiled for it, though, she grew up learning to share, cooperate, and fight her own battles with her three sisters. She grew very close to them from a young age, adoring her little sisters, and looking up to her elder sister Maddi all the time.
Life in Wales was quiet and easy, and though her mother sometimes went away for a while for work, she sometimes took the whole family along with her, so they got to travel the world and watch their mum playing Quidditch against the most famous of players. Then they would go back home and everything would be quiet and boring again. Neve always liked quiet and boring, as she saw it as peaceful and comforting, more than anything. Their house being by the beach was a blessing, as she would often wander down to the shore with her sisters to build sand castles and read books in the sun, their parents trusting them all to look after each other.
Her Hogwarts letter came, as expected, and though Neve had only shown the slightest hints of magic so far, she attended with enthusiasm, knowing her big sister would look after her, and help her settle in. She was sorted into Hufflepuff, and made friends with surprising ease, thanks to her accepting nature. She soon caught up on the magic stuff once lessons began, and loved the feeling of getting ecstatic letters from her mum and dad every time she worked her butt off for a good grade, encouraging her to keep it up. She has her sights set on a good job when she graduates, and now that she's in her final year, she's feeling the pressure to figure out what to do with her life, though she's sure she'll make the most of whatever it is, and put her whole heart into it, like she does everything else.
