A dark hooded man walked the street that was known as Knockurn Alley. His cloak was pulled up and tied up tight, keeping away the sudden chill of the wind. The days were getting nicer but when the wind took ahold of a city there was nothing more to do than rug up again as though it were winter. Jasper did not mind the cold, in fact he rather liked in, in particular he liked snow and ice cream but there wasn't much snow about so he figured he could always make his way to the ice cream parlour on Diagon Alley. It wouldn't be too busy because all though it was the end of may, the kids were at school still for a while longer and it was a fairly cold day with a threat of rain.
It was about ten in the morning and despite not liking the daytime much Jasper felt as though he needed some fresh air, he rarely got out of his place apart from work and that wasn't far from where he lived and besides, a quick stroll down Knockturn Alley wasn't really considered getting any sort of fresh air, the people that inhabited the street tend not to bathe and that lend to a stench that just polluted the Alley. Jasper planned on moving soon but he needed to follow through with some of his plans before he could do anything else.
Jasper reached the ice cream parlour and got himself a three scoop waffle cone with wondrous flavours. He started at the top, licking around it and then he moved to the sides as he walked out of the shop and onto Diagon Alley itself, three scoops on a cold day gave him the shivers but it was worth it, he wouldn't know what he would do without his ice cream sometimes.
The street wasn't all that busy and Jasper didn't give a crap what he looked like as he licked his ice cream and then observed it to see where his next licking point would be, if there was a bit about to drip, he was on it! This however did mean that he was not looking where he was going and as such bumped into some, their elbow hitting into him and knocking his ice cream into his chest. Jasper growled and it grew louder before he lashed out. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?" Jasper wasn't all too good at holding back his temper, not even in public.
