Graham doesn't have very good luck when it comes to wands. His very first wand was snapped in half when he had a run with a Glyptodont in his fourth year care of magical creatures class. Graham's second wand caught fire while preforming an advanced fire spell that he found in a restricted section book when he was in fifth year. The third wand that he bought as a teenager was his favourite. It was rather capable when it came to transfiguring spells, but sadly, over the years the wand became unpredictable due to core exposure. Graham is still getting used to his forth and with any luck, last wand. It is fifteen inches long and made out of wood taken from the heart of a cherry tree, stained a beautiful shade of American walnut. The design of the wand is quite stylish. Meant to reflect the core, the wand-maker carved the body of wood into the shape of a long, thin dragon. Its handle is that of a twisting dragon tale. Thin lines creating an even, scaled pattern up and along the back of the dragon, which had been whittled on the centre of the wand's length, making it a very appealing piece of woodwork. Clawed hind legs and forefeet were engraved on the underbelly of the dragon, as if the creator felt that leaving them out would somehow make the design incomplete. The tip of the wand was shaped so that it looks like a great dragon's head, mouth stretching open to reveal fine pointed teeth. Whenever Graham casts spells, the wisps of magic appear to be coming directly out of the dragon's mouth. It is without a doubt the flashiest wand that he has ever owned, but he is not quite sure whether he likes it or not.

Graham is tall, dark, and hunky! Ladies usually find it hard to resist his devilish good looks. Most would describe him as quite the lady's man due to the number of woman willing to do anything just to wind up in his bed. It is hard to resist a man with a charming smile, sexy blue eyes, and a tall, muscular body. As far as looks go, he seems nearly flawless. Graham knows that he is good looking. He uses it to his advantage as often as he possibly can. However, he doesn't usually have to try when it comes to getting his way with woman. They seem more than eager to please him, and really, who is he to tell them no?
There is one thing that people learn quickly when it comes to Graham. Though he is a pureblood wizard, he refuses to wear wizarding robes. He is more comfortable wearing slacks, dress shirts, and the occasional suit while out and about. When he has any time alone, Graham will wear sweat pants, track bottoms, t-shirts, tank-tops, and running shoes. He likes looking good and feeling good about the way that he appears to others, so he does work rather hard to present himself in a fashionable manner.

- Having a goddaughter. Because he is a bit off a lady-killer, he has no children of his own. As the matter of fact, he has pretty much given up on the hopes of ever having a child of his own. So he enjoys the fact that he is the godfather to his niece, Anissa.
- Woman! As previously mentioned, Graham is quite the womanizer. He is very skilled in the way of seduction and has no problem reeling in the females.
- Mythology. Even as a little boy, Graham thoroughly enjoyed studying mythology. Though he didn't know he would someday be a mythology professor at Hogwarts, he knew that his career would involve the myths of time.
- Sexy heels, on his women that is! Graham has always had a thing for a woman wearing a nice pair of shmexy high heels, especially stilettos! It gets his mojo flowing for certain.
- The grand art of kissing! Any woman that he decides to spend time with has to be a good kisser, because it's an important thing for Graham. If a woman isn't a good kisser then he's not interested.
- Attentive pupils. In the long years that he has been a professor, he has come to realize that he truly values a focused student. Many students take Mythology for an easy grade, figuring that it'll be a stress-free class, but Graham likes to keep his students on their toes.
- Learning. Even though Graham is long out of school himself, he still likes to learn new things. When he isn't chatting up pretty ladies or teaching his class, Graham has his nose firmly in large ancient tombs.
- Relaxing evenings by the fire. Whether he is alone or with a female companion, Graham likes to spend his evenings relaxing by the fire…at least until further activities beck to him.
- Family get-togethers. Because Graham works so far away from home, he really enjoys getting together with his parents and his sister's family on special occasions. It's not uncommon for him to send a lunch or dinner invite to somebody in hopes that they can get together and spend some time with one another.
- Holidays! Though he doesn't travel often, when the summer holidays roll around, he is usually on a topical island with beautiful women surrounding him.

- Rejection. Normally he is great with females. So, whenever Graham is rejected, he takes it rather hard. Sometimes even becoming rude to whomever rejects him.
- Dishonesty. Graham would be the first person to tell you that he isn't all that decent when it comes to morals, but one thing is definitely true. He is honest and he dislikes any form of dishonesty.
- People who shirk their responsibilities. Whether a person has an obligation to their job, family, friends, or person life, Graham feels that they should be able to attend to their responsibilities.
- Bad handwriting! As a professor Graham deals with written homework on a daily basis. Nothing makes him more angry than bad handwriting. If students turn in homework that is poorly written, he will give it back for them to rewrite or else give them a failing grade.
- Wizarding robes. He has never liked wearing wizarding robes, for whatever reason, and he very rarely wears them. Usually he'll wear nice muggle clothing instead.
- Snobby people. He's never really gotten along with uppity people. As the matter of fact, he has never been close with his brother-in-law Leighton because he comes across as a snobby git.
- Cooking. Graham has never been the sort of person who enjoys cooking. Being able to make a meal is definitely something he would look for in a woman IF he were to start a long-term relationship.
- Cold tea. If he has a cup of tea, Graham has to drink it before it gets cold or else it makes his stomach turn. The only time he can drink cold tea is if it's iced tea, because it is meant to be cold.
- The extreme downfall of what passes for music nowadays. Graham is very much a traditionalist when it comes to music. He likes old school tracks from before his own time.
- Nosy individuals. Graham isn't the sort of person who likes to talk about himself in depth.It really bothers him when people pry into his business or ask him personal questions.

Graham is a bit of a mystery. He doesn't like to talk about himself or share personal information with others. There isn't really a reason why he keeps to himself, but he has always kept his personal life distant when it comes to others. Perhaps that is because he is a professor and keeping his personal life away from the students is the only way to be a professional. Only his closest friends and family know who the true Graham Callahan is and that is the way that he likes it.
For the most part, Graham isn't a bad person. Yes, he is a womanizer. Yes, he is promiscuous. But when it comes down to it, he is the sort of person who is reliable and comes through for you, no matter what. Any one of the women he has wronged would say that he seemed like such a great guy at the beginning. But somewhere along the lines he turns into a monster praying on their vulnerabilities. That, of course, isn't true. He just gets bored easily! He never goes into a relationship with the intentions of breaking a heart. That is just something that happens when he doesn't feel a deep connection with them. But he figures, while he's looking for Mrs. Right, he might as well have fun along the way.
One thing that Graham takes very seriously is his job. He loves being a professor, though reading homework in bad hand writing might be the death of him, and he truly enjoys being a hands on teacher. He has a soft spot when it comes to children and educating the young minds of the wizarding world gives him a satisfied feeling. Graham loves what he does and you'll never hear him speak an ill word about his profession.

Coccineus is an intelligent eight year old green winged macaw. Graham didn't want an ordinary owl to carry his mail, so he purchased the big exotic bird instead. He decided to name him the Latin word for scarlet due to the brilliant red feathers on top of his head. It is pronounced, cok-sin-ee-us. Cocky, which is what Graham calls him, can understand any conversation, can talk very well, imitate sounds, and even work out number problems. The macaw is called Cocky due to his sarcastic and arrogant responses.

Graham grew up in the same way most children did. He had two loving parents and an annoying little sister. Friends came easily for Graham, so it didn't matter that they moved around a lot when he was little. He even maintained most of his good friendships with childhood buddies by writing to them regularly. Sometimes he even went on trips by himself to visit his pals for a week or two at a time.
His parents were the sort of people that one might call workaholics. His mother was a welcome witch at St. Mongo's for over forty years, spending long hours at the wizarding hospital and very little time at home. Gra's dad on the other hand was a stay at home parent. He would lock himself away in the cellar of their country-side home and spend hours working on homemade potions. Most of which Rhy's sold for good money in Diagon Alley. He wasn't particularly close with either of his parents and he was very independent. As far as his sister went, they never got along. Most of the time he thought she was a spoiled little brat who always got him in trouble and Clarissa believed that her older brother was just a big bully. They didn't grow close until Clarissa almost died having her daughter. It was almost as if the slate had been wiped clean between the two and strong bonds were forged between them.
When Graham was quite young, about fourteen, he was head over heels in love with the girl of his adolescent dreams. He would have done anything to make her happy. The only problem was that she didn't return his feelings. She broke his heart into a million pieces, stomping on them like dirt. Since then he hasn't let himself be vulnerable with another female, ever. Though he wouldn't admit it, he thinks that the pain of young love was what caused him to be licentious all of his adult life.
