ellen archer, 17, head girl, friendly, ravenclaw, emilia clarke
shy, friendly, gentle, organized, and kind hearted are words people often use to describe ms archer. without a question the most dominant character traits she possesses is her gentle heart and shy demeanor. Ellen doesn't like to be the center of attention even if it is for a good reason, and most of the time she tries to escape recognition. both of her siblings are much louder than her, and considering she is the middle child Ellen has learned to become reserved. her family members often tell her that she is going to make a wonderful mother someday.
to some extent she is obsessed with keeping things neat and organized. her bedroom is completely spotless, and if someone was to move something she'd know immediately. at home, Ellen is the one who does most of the laundry and dishes because she enjoys making things clean. her success with schoolwork can be attributed to her organizational skills.
her father is an artist and her mother used to act leaving her with a love of the arts. during the summer she takes art classes from her father, and she performs in the ensemble in some muggle plays. the world of art has become somewhat of an escape for her, and when she's not hiding behind a book she's probably reciting a monolog from a play or painting a picture. Ellen understands that taking such an active interest in muggle activities has opened herself up to being teased, and she often is, but most of the time she tries to pretend it doesn't bother her. the reality is that it does, and with most of the students having magic in their families she feels like a bit of an outcast.

When Hermione attended hogwarts as a student she was considered one of the most talented students in her year. Many tell her that she's lucky to have been gifted with such intelligence. Whenever someone tells her that Mione gets slightly annoyed because all she did was work hard and study. All throughout her life Hermione's parents pushed her to do the best she could do and encouraged excellence; Hermione met their expectations and formed a great work ethic. Most of her adult life has been devoted to her job and teaching the students of Hogwarts everything she can about how to properly use magic. At times this intense determination creates problems in her personal life. When she was younger she had a horrible time trying to make friends because she was so bossy and controlling
Hermione was taught to cherish life because it has infinite value. That was one of the greatest lessons her father taught her. Whenever she hears about a human rights violation she gets extremely upset, and she can't stand blood superiority. Some say she has a gentle heart, but she simply says she's right. The one thing she plans to teach her children in life is that exact lesson.
Docile and demure are words that are not in her vocabulary. She is fiercely loyal, and would be willing to die for people who are close to her. The bravery she demonstrates in her daily life proves that she is not willing to sit and watch injustice happen. That does not mean she is stupid. Hermione understands when to sit back and be patient and when to fight.

aria goodman, 27, auror, cynical, slytherin, leighton meester
If Aria was going to describe herself in one word it would be cynical. Throughout her life she has been disappointed by people, and she has grown to trust only herself. Sometimes Aria would like to believe that she'll open herself up again, but most of the time she's pessimistic. Honestly, she isn't a true cynic, and the only reason she is that way is because she's afraid to be anything different. For most of her life she has been alone and the moment someone tries to get close to her emotionally, she distances herself. After watching her parents divorce after years of marriage has turned her bitter when it comes to relationships.
Her whole entire existence is not bitter. In fact, the one thing that she finds insurmountable joy in is playing the piano. When she was five years old her parents had her start taking lessons, and ever since then she has been completely obsessed with it. Whenever she isn't working she can be found playing something on the piano; she is so dedicated that she can play for hours. Playing the piano gives her hope for the future that she doesn't feel at any other point during the day. In her opinion there is simply something beautiful about creating music from using one's fingers.
Left over from her youth is her ambition and desire to 'prove' herself. Aria has an obsession with trying to be perfect, and often times it results in catastrophe. In fact, Aria usually does a better job when she doesn't try so hard to overachieve. She has been known to completely stress herself out by taking on too much work. Her work load is piled on so high that she usually stays up to the most ungodly hour hyped up on caffeine. Considering there isn't anyone left to prove herself to because she's severed her relationship with her parents, she has gotten into habit.

lovers:
amelia marshall, 45, professor, complex, ravenclaw, michelle fairley
Sometimes Amelia's personality is extremely hard to swallow. She is controlling, demanding, high maintenance, and extremely arrogant. Her dominant character trait would have to be her intense need to control everything. Whenever she does not have control of the situation she tends to get frustrated and even a bit unstable. She highly exceeds what people would call a 'control freak.'
Her father was a highly wealthy CEO of a very successful industry in the wizarding world. Amelia's family never struggled with money. This has caused her to become very stuck up and arrogant. She has a bit of a superiority complex and strongly believes she's better than everybody else.
Even though she comes off as very confident and sure of herself Amelia is actually quite insecure. She never really trusts her talents and tends to sabotage any competition she might have or make the odds be more in her favor. She hates to lose and for some reason she doesn't believe she can really win without playing dirty. Even her marriage was an attempt to climb the social ladder. Her whole family has played the 'manipulation game' to get their way, so that's the only way she believes she can succeed. Unfortunately, she doesn't realize she could do better if she relied on her own intelligence and ambition.
The only time she has ever revealed her softer side is with her two kids and to Jasper. deep down Amelia really does have a loving and maternal side. When she is around her children she is a good person and does whatever she can to provide a stable home for her family.
