Odd, a little bit pretty and unusual have all been described to Hetty at one point or another. She grew up kind of goofy looking but never really noticed because she didn't spend a whole lot of time in front of the mirror. She apparently had goofy teeth, accuse of having no soul because of her red hair and asked what it was like to have to avoid the sun. Some kids at primary school even thought that she was a vampire, of course she wasn't, she just burnt a lot easier than most.
Today she stands at 5'5" and is happy with that. A few of the students are taller than her but that does not deter her in the slightest, some of the biggest men imaginable she's seen become whiney little sissy's when grazed with a bludger.
Hetty's eyes are a soft green and she has fiery red hair. She's slim and slender with nota whole lot of bust but enough that she likes it, a little bigger might be nice but truthfully it'd probably just get in her way.
Hetty's slim figure came out of no where. Her mother and father, all though slim once upon a time, gained weight rapidly once they had her, she seems not to be able to gain any weight no matter what she does but she's not exactly one for sitting still, she's always on the move, doing something and eating like there's no tomorrow and it's not just healthy food either, she has a love for all foods, she's not come across a food she doesn't like.
She often wears clothes that are just comfortable. Just tee's and jeans usually and her hair is often just down past her shoulders, just brushed, rarely styled. She wears a little bit of light make-up every now and then but she's not the overly girly sort however she loves to dress up in fancy dress or old worldy clothes, even if that means revealing a little more skin than she would like or putting on a dress, she loves to nerd out a little.

Stubbornness, arrogance, cruelty, war, fighting, wasted food, illegal activities, breaking rules, getting drunk/drinking alcohol, drugs of any kind.
erised[/i]
To look out for her younger sister and to protect her until she graduates. Nothing is more important to her than her sister.
amortentia[/i]
Tulips, rain, burning paper.
boggart[/i]
Something terrible happening to her sister. Her getting mained, tortured, dying, picked on, anything and everything bad.
dementor[/i]
When Hetty was nine she was riding her bike, she looked both ways before she crossed the road on it but from a side a street a car came swerving out and knocked her off her bike. She broke her arms, fractured her hip and had a concussion.
patronus[/i]
Lion, because she's a true Gryffindor at heart. Her happiest memory was seeing Hogwarts for the first time and knowing her life was truly going to change forever.
overall personality[/i]
Hetty is bouncy, individual and usually seems hyper. She's very different when she's working and remains as profession as possible, she likes to keep work and her private life separate with the exception of her sister, she likes to be able to keep a close eye on her at Hogwarts.
Hetty is protective of her younger sister, there is a large, 12 year age gap between the two and they never really had the chance to grown up really close but that doesn't mean that they didn't try with every school holiday available to them.
Hetty is a very strong willed, bold individual with a good moral compass. She's never stubborn and very flexible. She tolerates all types of people that would annoy most and handles every one of her patients with absolute respect.

history[/i]
Henrietta Summer Pine came from a muggle family and was an only child for quite a while of her life. Her parents had her straight out of high school. They were two kids just fooling around when they got pregnant. They joined together in holy matrimony pretty fast to appease their religious parents and found themselves in their own rental home, with a bouncing baby girl before the even left their teen years.
Ken took on an apprenticeship at a local mechanics, starting out on a crappy wage and Angie got a job at a local business, starting off at a minimum wage and working full time hours and then some overtime to get her work completed at home. She was a receptionist of sorts. Part personal assistant, part receptionist for the sleaziest, most sexist lawyer in town that liked to grab her behind.
Despite having gotten involved so young and not really knowing one another Angie and Ken made their relationship work, it was tough at first and eventually the two fell in love. They had a common goal; to give Henrietta the most perfect life either of them could imagine. Take her on holidays, give her whatever she wanted and pay for her school trips, every single one she ever wanted to go on.
Henrietta was spoilt. She was the only grandchild on both sides of her parents families and as such was spoilt anyway. She was the only grand child for four years on her mother's side when her cousin Franklin Brian Ashcott came along. On her father's side she was joined at the age of five by Taylor Ray Miles.
Henrietta was never overly close with either of her cousins. Her parents had both had one sister each, no brothers and so the only hope for the Pine family name to live on was if they had another child, a boy this time.
Time went on and Henrietta was surrounded by cousins but not siblings. Franklin had Benjamin Arthur and Samantha Rose for siblings and Taylor was joined by Dylan Michael, Zoey Daniella, Stephanie Marie and Sara-Jane Rebecca. Hetty was still on her own and by the time she reached ten she realised she was glad of this. She'd always wanted a sibling but she looked at her family compared to that of her cousins. Hetty's dad's sister had divorced her husband and was living off of government benefits, working part time at a Chinese take away shop and her five children were growing up out of control. On the other side was her mum's sister. Her husband was always ceasing and she was always working. Their kids were neglected but were somehow taking care of each other, they also had a lot of help from both grandmothers to keep the house spick and span.
Hetty compared her life and realised that her parents worked hard but gave her everything she wanted. They'd just started their own mechanics place and it was taking off well. They always had time just for her and she was always read a story or two every night by her parents. She realised that she was lucky and that there was more to life than siblings. If she never had a brother or sister she'd be happy and if she did, she would still be just as happy.
The time came for Hogwarts. Hetty and her parents were stunned when the wizarding world was revealed to them. They visited Diagon Alley and Hetty was amazed by the world around her. This was sure to beat the school work she'd been doing in her primary school!
At primary school Hetty had been an average student. She didn't know a whole lot about Maths and Science but the second she got her Hogwarts school books she was like a child possessed! Nothing could keep her from reading as much as she could and she even read up on Hogwarts, it's history and all about powerful witches and wizards.
The train journey was incredible and Hetty, as quirky as she was back then, made a few friends and enjoyed the ride. She tried new foods she'd never tried before like chocolate frogs, bertie botts and other strange things. She heard the term muggle out loud for the first time and giggled to herself. She just knew she was going to love Hogwarts.
The ride across the great big lake was the most incredible experience of Hetty's young life. Hogwarts was a sight to behold in the dark, all lit up and beautiful to anyone witnessing the great site. She hoped she would get to do this every year but as only first years had been asked to come she doubted she'd get the opportunity to do this again.
She got to the castle and anticipated the sorting ceremony. Some older kids mentioned something about fighting a unicorn. Hetty felt certain that she wouldn't be asked to fight a unicorn to discover her house for the next seven years, there had to be another way, right?
The sorting ceremony was a huge relief, it wasn't fighting a unicorn, or a werewolf or making a potion that turned back time because all of those things sounded horrible and completely out of reach for someone that had never practiced proper magic before.
Hetty's name was called just over half way through the sorting. The number of her fellow first years that surrounded her had dropped considerably and she sat on the three legged stool while the sorting hat was placed over her head and came down past her ears and eye. An unexpected voice sounded in her ear that made her jump slightly. She didn't realise that the hat actually talked to you, she had just thought it shouted out the house you were going to be in and sang a little song!
The hat spoke to Hetty and weighed up her options. It came down to two. Ravenclaw for her ever expanding thirst for knowledge of the wizarding world or Hufflepuff for her kind, generous nature, her fairness and level head. The Hat was weighing up and then it whispered a little something in her ear, it threw in a third possibility, one that would do her well, help her get through Hogwarts and life, somewhere that would challenge her and not just in an intellectual way. Overall it was decided that Gryffindor was best for her, the hat 'hmm'ed and 'ahhh'ed its own decision over in its head until she heard him shout to the hall 'GRYFFINDOR'. The hat was removed and Hetty grinned, excited to be placed and to join her new family at Hogwarts, Gryffindor.
Hetty's Hogwarts years were full of adventures. She stayed up late studying, not because she had to but because she loved it, she loved everything about the wizarding world. It's history was a little dark in places but so was the muggle world and there were so many similarities it was hard to believe.
Hetty's parents missed the house being so empty and began trying for another child. No sooner had they started trying in December they found out they were pregnant in February so during Hetty's first year her parents announced the news that they were pregnant and Hetty was ecstatic and home sick, all at once.
Hetty's baby sister was born the 2nd of November, 2005. Like her big sister young baby Pine was a Scorpius. Hetty was thrilled to have a baby sister and spent all her time at the Christmas holiday that year, doting on her baby sister.
Every school holiday there was, Hetty spent all her time on her sister. The two grew very close and played many, many games. Hetty told her younger sister all about Hogwarts and what a wonderful place it was and that she'd one day be going there too, the thought that her younger sister might not be magical had never crossed Hetty's mind. Luckily for the two of them, Hetty's younger sister was magical and revealed her powers in the most extraordinary of ways, a sight Hetty will never forget.
Despite having a thirst for all things magical Hetty wasn't a straight O student. She struggled to retain information over long periods of time and found it difficult to study. All her essay's would come back with E's or O's and come exam time she'd get E's and an occasional A. Of course her grade was always bumped up by her hard work through out the year, the fact that she handed in a lot of good essay's that made up a good percentage of her end of year score, other wise she was sure she'd just land herself a set of straight A's and not an O in sight.
Come time to leaving Hogwarts Hetty felt a little heart broken, the castle had been her home but at least now she could spend a little more time with her sister before she was going to go to Hogwarts, at least that was the plan, unfortunately Hetty's chosen career path took up a lot of her time both on the job and with the studying required. She didn't get to spend as much time with her family a she hoped but it was more than when she'd been away at Hogwarts. Every Sunday was family day with a roast for lunch and whatever mum had in the cupboard that week for tea. If it weren't for those Sunday's Hetty wasn't sure she would have made it through all her new learning, it was all pretty heavy things she was having to learn.
Hetty went to learn at St Mungo's to become a healer and mediwitch. She passed all her theory with flying colours and the hands on bits went even better than was expected of her. She was neat, courteous and always offered a friendly smile, she learnt how to calm the angry and cheer up the unhappy with her softly spoken words, glowing eyes and fiercely addictive smile. Training as a mediwitch meant that she was away from the hospital a lot too, she was taken to all sorts of sports games, mainly quidditch with an occasional quadpot match thrown in and saw many gaming injuries and which soon became her specialty.
Games weren't the only things she was there to train with, she was sent to those that couldn't make it to hospital and required home visits or were in a state of emergency. She loved her job but not long after her training was over she found a new passion. Quidditch.
Hetty wasn't the most stable flyer at Hogwarts and thus never made it on the team. She wasn't the type to try out though so it never really mattered too much to her but during her time as a mediwitch out on the field, she enjoyed the pure brutality that was quidditch. Hogwarts students played nothing like the real men and women of the game and Hetty loved it.
She gave up her job as a mediwitch a year and a half after being fully trained. She joined the Daily Prophet team after she wrote a stunning article on a Magpies vs. Cannon's game when the paper had a position open. She got the job after she proved her worth with a couple more articles and leader the way with her passion for the sport and then, three years later, something happened to a Healer at Hogwarts and Hetty knew this was her chance to go back to the place she loved the most and to spend some more time with her younger sister, not a lit but more than just school holidays and the occasional Hogsmeade trip.
At age 26 Hetty applied for the open position of healer, she's been there two years now and loves every minute. She sees her sister from time to time, attends every quidditch match as a trained mediwitch. She's seen some of the worse injuries and hexes at Hogwarts but she know's that's what happens when you smoosh together a large number of adolescent teens.
Hetty is very happy with her life and the way it is going at the moment. She's happy in her job and as of yet has no desire to change. She's picked an obvious side in this wizarding war with the Insurgence.
