Brekke sat prettily in a flowery seat, dark hair tumbling over one shoulder as she pulled her black gloves off and set them down on the table. Madam Puddifoots was probably the worst place she could have chosen to arrange a family lunch, but Brekke was never one to pass up a good joke at the expense of her little brother and sister. Bailey, specifically, would likely be highly embarrassed to sit in here with his sisters while couples swooned at each other all around them. Brekke grinned to herself at the thought of what his face might look like.
Well, Valentine's Day was coming up! What better excuse to eat at the quaint cafe! That was her reasoning, and nobody would be able to make her feel bad about making them go here. Besides, it wasn't like any of them had dates this year, so this was about as romantic as things would get for the Dillon siblings this Valentines. Tiny red and pink rose petals fell from the sky, landing in the center of each table and disappearing again before more landed, and Brekke smiled, scooping some up in her fingers before they vanished. It was all so cheesy, but she did kind of like it. Especially the mini cupids flying about the room with their arrows aiming at teen couples.
Kiri was waiting outside, having made her way over from Gladrags, and Brekke watched her blonde head bob about in the window. She was likely waiting outside for Bailey to show up, which would probably embarrass him more. The poor boy would disown the pair of them after an hour in here. Smirking to herself, Brekke picked up a menu and scanned through it, wondering what she might like to eat. Everything seemed to be themed, but she could see a few normal snacks on the list, and promised herself a pink heart cupcake before they left.
